BANG!

The door slams into your face and you fall flat on your face. When you open your eyes, you see a young girl around your age helping you up.

Girl: I'm sorry....I didn't see you coming.
You: That's okay. It was an accident.
Girl: I'm just so excited! I got my first pokemon today!
You: Cool..I have a Squirtle. I'm going to go see Prof. Birch to get my pokedex
Girl: Cool. Oh yeah, my name is May. Nice to meet you. Wanna have a battle before you get your pokedex?
You: Sure. My name is Winter. GO Squirtle!
May: GO Roselia!

Your pokemon are sent out just as you hear an explosion come from Prof. Birch's labratory.

Prof. Birch: GET BACK HERE WITH THOSE POKEBALLS!
Person: Cya sucker. Remember this name "TEAM Aqua"
Prof. Birch: MAY! Winter! I'm glad you are here! Go retrieve those pokeballs and come back.

The Team Aqua member stops and laughs.

May: Okay Prof.
You: Okay. Let's go May.
Aqua Member: Okay kiddies..2-on-2 battle! GO Corphish AND Wooper!

Sorry, I had to make you send out Squirtle because it is your "official" first pokemon.

Its Fine Get ready for this!


Winter: Squirtle Quick use TailWhip then Tackle on Corphish

May: Roselia! Use Absorb on Wooper! Its super effective! Then Use Growth. And Then Absorb again.

[RipTide]

Squirtle runs in at Corphish and distracts it with tailwhip. The attack lowers Corphish's defense, but over all it just makes it angry. As Squirtle whips its tail around Corphish chomps down on it with its claws, hurting squirtle. In a panic to get away from Corphish, Squirtle tackles it, making the crawfish pokemon let go.

Roselia runs at Wooper and begins an absorb attack. Roselia rears back and suddenly little green orbs of energy start transfering from Wooper to Roselia! The attack does huge damage but Wooper manages to blow back Roselia with a water gun. As Roselia regains composure, she bulks up her Special Attack with a dazzling looking growth attack.

[Mayhem]

May: Roselia Absorb again! Then use Growth!

Winter: Alright use Tackle Barrage Then Tailwhip him!

[RipTide]

Roselia charges in for another absorb but Wooper knocks it back with watergun. As wooper celebrates, Roselia uses growth, and then surprises Wooper with another humongous absorb attack.

Squirtle charges at Corpish with tackle, but trips and falls. Corphish comes up to squirtle, and smashes it with its claws.

Tackle Barrage? Do you mean a barrage of Tackles? Hm.. odd, that's the same exact weird strategy your "brother" used with Staryu. Coincidence?

[Mayhem]

Nope, I looked at his pokedex why?

Winter: Use Tail Whip on Corp, Then Tackle him into those rocks!

May: Roselia use Growth and then Absorb as much as you can!

[RipTide]

Nevermind.

Squirtle wags its tail again, but just like before, Corphish grabs on with its claws. Suddenly it starts to let out bubbles, hurting Squirtle as they pop in its face. Squirtle whips its tail in the direction of the rocks and then tackles Corp, pinning it between Squirtles shell and the sharp rocks.

Roselia uses growth again and then absorbs. Wooper keeps trying to water gun but its doing barely any damage. Absorb is double super effective, and Wooper doesn't look like it will last much longer...

[Mayhem]

May: Roselia Keep it up! Keep absorbing him!

Winter: Keep Tackling him into those rocks!

[RipTide]

Roselia gets a critical hit with her absorb and Wooper is sent flying through the air! It lands on the ground and is KO'd!

Level up +1 for ROSELIA and SQUIRTLE

Meanwhile, Squirtle and Corp are deadlocked in an even battle. Corp lets go of Squirtles tail and as Squirtle tries to tackle him, Corp moves, sending Squirtle flying into the rocks itself.

Normally this would have been the round where I said FINISH WOOPER! but you got a critical hit so it skipped it and went straight to KO.

[Mayhem]

May: Roselia Absorb Corp as much as you can!

Winter: Okay Squirtle Distract Corp whie Roselia is abosrbing!

[RipTide]

Squirtle dances and taunts Corp, trying to distract it. Corp isn't as weak as you think and unleashes a wall of bubbles, damaging both Squirtle and Roselia. Roselia tries to absorb, but can't because she looses sight of Corp in the bubbles.

[Mayhem]

May: Roselia Absorb Corp while using Growth

Winter: Okay Squirtle Distract Corp whie Roselia is abosrbing Make Sure Corp cant see Roselia!

[RipTide]

Squirtle tries to distract Corp again, but Corp just chases it and Roselia can't keep up with it. Corp notices Roselia trying to get in a cheap attack, and clamps down on her with its Claws. Roselia tries to absorb, but is in too much pain. Corp batters Roselia in the face at close range with bubble attack until suddenly Roselia faints, and is unable to battle.

Squirtle and Corp are the only two pokemon left.

[Mayhem]

Wow, Roselia took almost dmg in battle and now faints after 1 attack.

Winter: Tackle Corp 3 times, then use Tail Whip, Dont let him grab your tail!

crushed by the claws, and then bubbled. Aka lack of air: Crushed it so it couldn't breath well, drowned it with the water in the bubbles. But really, these comments shouldn't even take place sooooo... back to the RPG ^_^

Squirtle tackles, and dodges Corps bubble attacks. Squirtle whips its tail and Corp tries to latch on, but Squirtle pulls it away and then tackles for good damage.

[Mayhem]

Winter: Use Tackle continously then Tail Whip Him Dont let him get a latch on your taiL! Use those rocks for cover if he does his Bubble attack!

[RipTide]

Corp runs at Squirtle with bubble, but Squirtle dodges and hides in the rocks. Corp tries to follow it, but as it draws near, Squirtle hits it hard with a surprise tackle for a CRITICAL HIT!

FINISH CORPHISH!

[Mayhem]

Winter: Finish it off with a Tackle! Hard now!

[RipTide]

Corphish is unable to avoid the attack and is KO'd instantly.

Level up +1 for SQUIRTLE

You and May retrieve the pokeballs and rush back to the Professor's lab as the Aqua Member scowls and runs away.

Professor: Ohh thank you! Thank you! Goodness knows what would have happened if that thug would have gotten away with these pokemon. Herm... you two could use one of these.

Poke'dex obtained!

Professor: You can use that if you ever find a pokemon that you don't know the identity of. Anyways, have a good day kids! Good luck on your journey.

You and May leave and May turns to you.

May: So... can I go along with you on your journey? Or are we going to have to go our seperate ways? I'd like to go with you...

[Mayhem]

Winter: Sure Join up! Lets go to the Pokemon Center then look for Wild Pokemon!

[RipTide]

May: Yaaay! Goody!

The two of you head out of town when suddenly you see someone standing at the town border.

You: Mom??
Mom: How DARE you leave on a journey without saying good bye to me. *Suddenly she starts crying* I'm going to miss you so much! Please, Please, take these.

$250 + HM: Cut Obtained!

Mom: You're lucky, dear. HMs are rare to comeby. Most people have to do tedious tasks to get one. Use it well! Bye my dear!

You say your goodbyes and head out on your journey. Congratulations!

You and May decide to look for pokemon. Everything seems quiet and calm, but suddenly a Poochyena comes crawling out of some grass, holding a Metapod captive!!

Eh Ill let save the Metapod

Winter: Go! Abra! Use ThunderPunch right off the bat! Dont hit Metapod though!

[RipTide]

Poochy drops the Metapod in fury as it sees its new prey; Abra. As Abra strikes it with thunder punch it bites down on Abra's fist. The electricity runs through Poochy and nearly fries it. But as the electric part of the attack fades Abra begins howling in pain as Poochy keeps its jaws locked.

[Mayhem]

Winter: Abra Start charging up the thunderpunch and punch the back of Poochy' throat!

[RipTide]

Despite the pain, Abra charges the electricity in its fist and lunges its arm deeper into Poochys throat. The attack does huge damage and Poochy backs off. As soon as it lets go its grip, it charges and tackles Abra, sending the psychic pokemon tumbling.

[Mayhem]

Winter: Alright Dodge any tackle he sends at you teleport and ThunderPunch him in the head! (If its allowed)

(If not) Just Thunderpunch him in the head.

[RipTide]

Of course its allowed. You WANT to bring in defensive tactics or else you'll stand no chance at winning trainer battles/gym battles later on.

Poochy tries to tackle Abra, but the speedy psychic pokemon keeps teleporting away! Poochy, growing tired and grstrated, tries another tackle but Abra disappears, only to reappear right behind Poochy, and thunderpunches it in the head for huge damage.

Poochy tumbles to the side, and suddenly is reinterested in the Metapod. It howls loudly and begins guarding it.

[Mayhem]

Winter: Quick Teleport and Grab onto Metapod Then Teleport away! Put him in that tree then teleport above Poochy and Thunder Punch his torso and head.

[RipTide]

Your plan works perfectly and you are able to bring Metapod to safety. Abra returns to the battle and Poochy is overwhelmingly angry. Abra tries a thunderpunch and hits Poochy hard. But Poochy turns and bites down again. This time you notice something different: a purple goo is being unleashed from Poochy's tooth into Abra!

Oh no! Poochy knows the egg move Poison Fang!!!

The attack poisons Abra, but thanks to synchronize, Poochy becomes poisoned aswell.

[Mayhem]

Winter: Alright Quiclk use Teleport ontop of Poochy and then use Thunder punch on his head! Keep repeating this, If he tries to bite you Teleport away!

[RipTide]

Abra does what you say and soon Poochy is disoriented from all the damage it is taking. The poison is slowly sapping its HP too...

Meanwhile, up in the tree, Metapod has fainted from exhaustion and pain from its wounds.

FINISH POOCHY!

EDIT: If you're going to just give Staryu to May you should do something in a post telling how she got it (ie she tells you how she got it or you give it as a gift to her). Technically you dont HAVE to, but I think its better than just having a pokemon suddenly appear in her party.

Abra hits Poochy hard, but it doesn't KO it. Poochy lunges at Abra with its fangs bared but faints from poison before it can make an attack.

When someone catches a pokemon you need to say that a person throws a pokeball/greatball/etc because I need to give you the pokemon's data/stats.

1...2...3... Hooray! May caught a Metapod! (Female Level 8. Ability= Shed Skin. Moves: Tackle, String Shot, Harden)

The two of you are about to head two Odale to heal your pokemon, but realize its a day or so off, so you decide to turn around quickly and heal back at Home.

You say hello and goodbye again to your parents and are once again off on your way to Odale.

You walk for a few hours and are half way there; you kept a good pace. But the sun is going down and you're both tired. So, you set up camp and decide to sleep.

You wake up the next morning to a very bright sun. You continue your journey to Odale, and decide what else to do.

Look for more pokemon?
Look for trainers?
Stay on the path and go right to Odale?

Well, Lets Look for some more Pokes

You head in the direction of Odale, and being looking for more pokemon.

You find yourself walking through a very swampy, mukky area all of a sudden, and soon the entire area smells noxious.

May: Ew... let's get out of here. Odale should be just up ahead.

The two of you begin jogging but suddenly your foot gets stuck in some weird looking mud. The mud starts to move and soon you find yourself face to face with a grimer!!!

Battle it?
Move on to Odale?

[Mayhem]

Move On to Oldale. (If any Pokemon you see like Rodents ;) Ill take)

You reach Odale, and immediately spot a group of very young trainers gathered around a somewhat older one. He looks your age or so. He sees you watching from a distance and walks up.

Kid: Hey, you want a match? My Name is Buzz.

May: Come on Winter, you can do it. Accept his challlenge.

In about everyones poke'dex I give you a mono-type trainer that you meet up with once and awhile. Since your bro left, you can have the character I was saving for him ^_^.

[Mayhem]

Winter: Alright Lets Go! You send out first!

[RipTide]

Buzz: What? Afraid I'm going to have an amazing pokemon? Well, you're right! Go, Beedrill! (Male Level 10)

You: Wah!?! That pokemon is a lot stronger than mine!

Buzz: Fine... that's not even my strongest.... Whatever. Return Beedrill. Go, Surskit! (Female, Level 8)

[Mayhem]

Winter: Go Abra! Quick Teleport underneith it and use Thunderpunch!

[RipTide]

Abra disappears and tries to reappear below surskit, but can't fit there. Surskit gets angry when it ends up teleporting right in front of it, and nails it in the face with bubble. Abra falls backward and is unable to connect its thunderpunch.

[Mayhem]

Winter: Teleport in the Air So Surskit is looking at the sun then come raoring down with Thunderpunch!

[RipTide]

Surskit uses quick attack before Abra can teleport. But after the attack hits, Abra disappears and comes crashing down from above Surskit with a thunderpunch. The attack connects and does good damage.

[Mayhem]

Winter: Alright Teleport then ThunderPunch Surskit in the mouth.

[RipTide]

Abra teleports again before Surskit's quick attack makes contact. It reappears next to it and hits it hard for a good chunk of damage. Surskit defends itself though and backs Abra away with a barrier of bubbles.

[Mayhem]

Winter: Abra If Surskit uses Bubble Teleport away! Then use Thunderounch in his mouth!

[RipTide]

Surskit starts up a continuous onslaught of bubbles and is unable to do anything but dissappear and teleport away. Soon Abra grows tired, and takes a face full of bubble attack.

[Mayhem]

Winter: Abra Teleport Right behind Surskit and Thunderpunch!

[RipTide]

The plan works but before Abra can make contact, Surskit quick attacks away. It quick attacks right back but Abra is able to thunderpunch at the same time. Both pokemon take heavy damage.

[Mayhem]

Winter: Finish this Surskit! Teleport behind those rocks then teleport right behind him while he is looking fot you! Then Thunderpunch as hard as you can!

[RipTide]

Abra looks around for the rocks you're talking about and telepots immediately when it sees them. Surskit uses quick attack to follow but is surprised to run into a thunder punch as it slowed down. Surskit tumbles backwards and fends off Abra with bubbles as it tries to use another thunder punch.

Both pokemon are extremely tired....

FINISH SURSKIT OR BE FINISHED!!!

Winter: Heres a Potion* Quick Teleport right Behind him and Thunderpunch!

[RipTide]

Abra is healed by the potion and then disappears. It reappears behind Surskit and hits it hard for a finishing blow.

Level up +1 for Abra! +$200 Gained!

Buzz: Hm.. Not bad, kid. Just goes to prove I shouldn't have gone easy on you. Next time I won't send out my WEAKEST pokemon. Ha! Well, I'm outta here. Maybe I'll see you again sometime.

Winter: Go to the Pokemon Center then Let may look for Pokemon.

You got to the center and heal, and then May heads off on her own for a little bit to search for pokemon.

Hm... no ponds in the area..

But suddenly you hear the faint sound of rushing water. You peer through some dense foliage and see a creek! Go look there?

Yes look there.

May shuffles through the dense underbrush and soon finds herself by a small creek... nothing much seems to be happening, when suddenly she sees a pokemon struggling to free itself from the muddy banks!

The pokemon is green and yellow, and seems to be howling in pain. Wonder what it is?

[Mayhem]

May: Oh No! Ill help you!

[RipTide]

Use poke'dex to figure out what it is?

[Mayhem]

Yes Then go help the thing out

[RipTide]

The poke'dex rings loudly and May finds out that the pokemon in the mud is a Electrike! May tries to get close to help it, but she can't because it snaps at her everytime she tries to get close....

Do what?

May: Go Metapod! Use Tackle and make him weak so he accepts my help!

[RipTide]

Metapod tackles the Electrike hard and instantly KO's it as it's already so worn out.

Levle up +1 for Metapod.

May starts to look for trainers but it doesn't seem like there are any around.. She turns from the path and enteres the grass and suddenly trips.

Youngster: Ouch! You kicked me!
May: I didn't mean it I'm sorry!
Youngster: Not as sorry as your gunna be! You scared off a sentret!

Yes.

May: Get ready for me kid! Go! Roselia!

[RipTide]

Youngster: I'm not afraid of that! Go Zigzagoon! (male level 8)

[Mayhem]

May:Roselia! Quick Cotton Spore then Absorb as much as you can! After that use Growth and keep using cotton spore! Dont give up!

[RipTide]

Roselia uses cotton spore and obscures Zigzagoons vision and slows it down. Roselia starts to use growth, but Zig finds its way through the cotton and hammers Rose with tackle.

[Mayhem]

May: Quick Roselia USe as many cotton spores as possible then Absorb him! After he is down use a quick growth. Then use abosrb as much as possible.

[RipTide]

Rose lets out a huge cotton spore and Zig gets lost within it. Roselia sneaks up behind it and uses absorb for huge damage, then disappears before Zig can attack. Roselia uses growth and prepares itself for its next attack.

[Mayhem]

May: Yay!*Jumps* Keep using Cotton spore and keep moving while using absorb! You can do it Roselia!

OCC: Hey Rip, When do I get a rival? I really want one ^__^

Zigzagoon figures out Roselia's plan and dodges the cotton, then sneaks up behind Rose and tackles hard. Roselia falls forward and takes heavy damage.

[Mayhem]

OCC: How can you sneak in a battle???? <.<

May: Roselia Use Absorb get some HP back and use Cotton Spore Try and keep moving so he cant tackle you!

[RipTide]

Roselia was in a cloud of cotton, it couldn't see everything around it...

Roselia turns and finds Zigzagoon close by and drains it with absorb. The normal pokemon takes heavy damage, but tackles Rose before she can use Cotton Spore.

[Mayhem]

May: Start using Absorb! Then use cotton spore! Dont stop using the combp untill he comes at you then you need to dodge then use cotton spore again! Then use growth and Absorb!

[RipTide]

Roselia starts absorbing, and then lets out a poof of cotton spore. Zigzagoon lunges but starts to gag as the cotton lodges itself in his throat.

FINISH ZIGZAGOON
