You wake up to the sound of the birds and look at your alarm clock. 10:00?!?! You forgot to set your alarm and now you're gonna be late. You quickly throw clothes on and run outside. You see a crowd of people walking away from a house down the block. You run pass the crowd into the house.

You: Professor!! Can I have my Pokemon?

Professor: Hmmm... I do have one left... ok, you can have it...

You: Yes!! Thank you so much Professor!!

You take your Pokemon and run outside in excitement. You bump into another trainer.

Steve: It's about time you showed up. And judging by your Pokemon, the Professor didn't have anything else...

You: Don't talk about my Pokemon like that!!

Steve: Make me. Go, Exeggcute (Male Lv. 5)!!

[Mayhem]

Purple: Go Staryu! Quick Use Harden then Tackle him!

[RipTide]

Staryu tenses up its body, and then launches itself at Exeggcute. Exeggcute starts hurling itself at Staryu with Barrage attack, but the harden does its job and the barrage bounces off Stayu's skin harmlessly. Staryu's tackle hits dead on, throwing the group of eggs into the air and landing with a thud for good damage.

[Mayhem]

Purple: Harden! Then Juke those eggs and Tackle it!

[RipTide]

FYI: You might want to get a little more creative as the battle gets further along

Staryu hardens again and rushes toward Exeggcute. It jukes one way and then Tackles, but the attack misses as the group of eggs hop over it. Exeggcute turns and starts to let out an awful soundoing noise as it hops around wildly. Staryu it blown backwards by the sounds; the Uproar attack did its job.

[Mayhem]

Purple: Alright Staryu! Go on top of the building and Harden 3 times!, then as soon as Exeggcute comes up tackle!

[RipTide]

Staryu propels itself into the air like a boat-motor and lands ontop of your house. Exeggcute, down on the ground, gets very angry and tries to unleash a Hypnosis, but the uproar it caused prevents sleeping for awhile... Staryu, meanwhile, is hardening like crazy. It notices that exeggcute can't get up on the house, so Staryu jumps and comes bombing down with tackle. In utter fear, exeggcute runs to the side and Staryu hits the ground.

Uh oh! One of Staryu's legs is jammed in the ground!

Purple: Staryu Quick Harden Really Fast as much as possible then try and Spin your way out! Then Tackle Eggs

[RipTide]

Exeggcute notices that Staryu is stuck and begins battering it with Barrage. Staryu hardens, so the attacks do near to no damage. Suddenly, Staryu begins spinning and pops out of the ground. It blinks its core in triumph and dives at Exeggcute, dealing a powerful tackle attack.

[Mayhem]

Purple: Nice Job Staryu! Now! Use Harden and go High up into the air! By the Sun! Then come crashing down!

[RipTide]

Hey, I used that strat before in my 'dex ^_^

Staryu jumps up as Exeggcute uses hypnosis, dodging the attack. Exeggcute tries another, but looses Staryu in the sun. Staryu comes crashing down, dealing big damage on the grass type.

[Mayhem]

Purple: Great Job Staryu! Now Harden 5 times and dodge any Hyponosis And then go in for the tackle!

[RipTide]

FYI: Exeggcute has Chlorophyll ability

Staryu begins hardening, but is unable to do 5 as it needs to dodge the continuous onslaught of Hypnosis. One hits Staryu in the arm, but is uneffective. Staryu hardens when it can and goes spiraling toward Exeggcute with tackle. Exeggecute takes the hit dead on, but regains itself and uses a surprisingly powerful Barrage that sends Staryu flying back a few yards.

[Mayhem]

Purple: Comon Staryu Harden again this time make those eggs jump and smack them high in the air! Then us Tackle hard now!

[RipTide]

The clouds in the sky all start to fade and the sunlight comes out. Chlorophyll kicks in and Exeggcute starts speeding around. Staryu tackles but misses. Exeggcute rushes in with Barrage, but Staryu tackles through it.

FINISH Exeggcute!

[Mayhem]

Purple: Quick Do a tackle barrage! As fast as you can now!

[RipTide]

Exeggcute is stunned and the tackle hits dead on without problem.

Level up for Staryu

Steve:Awww man! Whatever. Once I train this lil' guy he'll know attacks that are Super Effective against you. See ya later, sucker!

Go see Mom/Professor/Leave Town?

See Mom then Prof. THEN look for Pokemon

You go to your house and stop in to see your mom.

Mom:Hello, dear.
You:Mom, I'm heading out on a pokemon journey.
Mom:Oh hunny that's wonderful! I'll miss you, but I'm sure you'll do great. I was just watching a news story on Spotlight Trainers. Apparently a lot of new trainers have been setting out, all of them mono-type trainers from different regions and cities.
You: Monotype?
Mom:It means single type. Like an all water trainer. It was quite interesting. The news anchor said that most of these trainers were doing this because many gym leaders are getting older and sooner or later new ones will need to take their place. They interviewed with some of the rookie trainers. I think their names were Ivy, Pyra, Tyde, Skyler, and Buzz. Apparently there are monotype trainers for every type.
You: Cool
Mom: I still think its best that you train all types of pokemon. That way you can always counter your weaknesses... But anyways, I wanted to tell you about that because I hear that the young boy named Buzz actually just started his journey out of Viridian! But yes, good luck, hunny. I'm sure you'll do great. Take these... and I love you!

Oak:Well hello there Purple. I hear you beat Steve! Congratulations. Here is a gift for your journey.

You leave Oaks and head out on your journey, HOORAY!

As you walk a long route 1 you see a lot of different things. The sun is high, its still the afternoon, and the weather is great. You can hear pokemon noises everywhere. As you walk along the path you see a large grouping of trees, pokemon may be in there! You also see a rocky area along the coastal outskirts of Pallet. Pokemon may be there too! Where are you going to look?

[Mayhem]

Ill look by the rocks.

[RipTide]

You meander over to the rocks and don't see much happening. You peer into the water and see....nothing. This area is kind of desolate.

Suddenly you hear the sound of moving sand. Yay! Maybe it's a pokemon! You look past the rocks, over onto the sandy shore, and sure enough there is a pokemon burrowing around. Unfortunately for you you can't see what it is. You pull out your pokedex and... *Ping Ping-- Entrry found*

Poke'dex: Sandshrew, the mouse pokemon. When it curls up in a ball, it can make any attack bounce off harmlessly. Its hide has turned tough and solid as a result of living in deserts and sandy regions.

Do what?

Purple: Lets do this! Go Staryu! Water Gun! Then Harden! Then Water Gun again!

FYI: You didn't edit your first post to say that Staryu is level 6 ^_^

Staryu appears from its pokeball and blinks happily when it senses the ocean. Sandshrew see's Staryu coming towards it and immediately uses sandattack. Staryu stumbles backwards, but charges forward and uses watergun for a super effective hit. Sandshrew pounces ontop of Staryu and scratches ruthlessly. Staryu hardens and Sandshrew hurts itself when its claws hit the hardened skin. As sandshrew yelps in pain, Staryu blows it away with another water gun.

Purple: Harden again and keep use water gun! Dont let up!

Staryu hardens, but Sandshrew dives in with scratch an hacks at Staryus core which does not hard. Staryu takes huge damge. Staryu blasts the mouse away again with watergun.

What do you mean can he have them? Why don't you just leave your 'dex an keep going with it when you get back?
