Choices – A Cooltrainer. Interesting, but I think that would work better a bit later, not right out of the gate. A Charmander, however, was a very good choice, reminiscent of your first fight in games. Although, the fact that you only gave $125 after the battle is odd. Without an additional prize, the monetary reward should always be $200. 7/10
Brevity – It’s difficult to write about how you made a battle last a certain amount of time. Well, you did as well as I can expect out of anyone. Not so much time between battles, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. 10/10
RP Skills – I didn’t see as much outside battle RPing out of you as some of the others, so I don’t really have a good idea of how good you really are. The bit I saw, however, was pretty good. You only lost points for not having a lot of it in your posts. 9/10
Tactics – The Charmander was decent, and I loved the Slakoth. I think you did a good job of portraying its “on again off again” style of battling. 10/10
Activity – Very quickly done. Not the speediest, but plenty active enough to be a successful updater. 9/10
Other Points – Using amusing choices people are almost never going to choose. (+2)
Final Score – 47/50 – You would be a very successful updater.

HHH
Choices – A Youngster is fine, as is Spearow, but I don’t much like the concept of forced battle. Also, chose wild pokemon that the update wouldn’t be likely to want to fight, delaying the journey. 6/10
Brevity – Whatever. You did fine. Just like everyone else. 10/10
RP Skills – Misspellings, as well as other grammatical problems, and not the smoothest flow with the writing. A writing course would help a lot with the problems you have. 5/10
Tactics – Fine enough. Nothing spectacular, but nothing to write home about either. 8/10
Activity – Last one to finish, but still within acceptable boundaries. Only a day after the second last, so not horrible, but nothing spectacular. 8/10
Other Points – Excessive irrelevant information. (-3)
Final Score – 34/50 - Work on you grammatical skills for a while.

Mr. Blue
Choices – First, the guy you had as the trainer. Very interesting, placing me in the role of savior of that little kid. Also, giving me the choice of having a partner was excellent. Now then, the pokemon you chose. A Geodude fighting a Farfetch’d at that level would usually be a really bad idea, but the fact that Farfetch’d had Steel Wing made it excellent. The Carvanha would have been fun as well. 10/10
Brevity – About ten posts for the battle, and a good sense of how long the conversations should have lasted. Very well done, though because there’s a lot of wiggle-room in this category, these aren’t the most impressive points you can earn. 10/10
RP Skills – Pretty darn good, you’re a good role player. The only nit-picky thing I can see is that you weren’t consistent in your choices. You went from A-B-C to W-T-3. What’s up with that? 9/10
Tactics – Inspired. You have a knack for knowing what a pokemon can do. I can’t really see any major problems that would block you from not having the position. 10/10
Activity –You were very active and prompt with your updating. ‘Nuff said. 10/10
Other Points – First one finished! (+5) Didn’t read everything posted about the competition. (-3)
Final Score – 51/50 – You would make an excellent updater.

RipTide
Choices – Well, elemental trainers are interesting. I believe it was Needle who had elemental trainers all over, and if they’re done well, they can be very fun to use. Also, bad puns for names are incredibly cool. The Bellsprout was le cool. One of my favorite pokemon, expect a bonus just for using it. Not to mention it was a good challenge for Farfetch’d to fight. 10/10
Brevity – Slightly longer fight that I would have thought, but Bellsprout was tough to take down. Overall worked out well, and the battle worked. The conversations were nicely timed, and I really liked it. 10/10
RP Skills – Very well done. I’ve always know you were good, and this is just more of the same. I have nothing more to say 10/10
Tactics – Very nice job. I don’t know if it’s because you like Bellsprout or what, but seeing as you also did a good job with Farfetch’d, a pokemon you didn’t pick out, I know that it’s just general knowledge that got you through. 10/10
Activity – You were almost as swift as Mr. Blue. Full points! 10/10
Other Points – Excellent use of one of my favorite pokemon. (+2)
Final Score – 52/50 – You would make an excellent updater.

Choices – I liked the trainer, as well as the pokemon, but I didn’t like the fact that you randomly forced a battle on me. The Rocket scenario, though also interesting, would have been better suited for later on in the adventure. Maybe something of a lower impact for an initial Rocket scenario than a balloon heist would have been better. 6/10
Brevity – I give up on trying to write things about this category. 10/10
RP Skills – Decent, but a little choppy, and some sentences weren’t the easiest to read. In all honesty, if you can take a writing course, you should. It would really get you up to the next level of writing, and make you a lot better. 7/10
Tactics – For the pokemon you chose, it was decent, though seemed a bit uninspired. 9/10
Activity – Slower than some other, but still pretty good. Enough to be good, but nothing exceptional. 8/10
Other Points – None.
Final Score – 40/50 – A little work would improve you vastly.
