Is there an advertiser in the house?

All right guys and dolls, listen up. In a bit, the admins are going to be running weekly ads for every forum on GW, and this one is no exception to the rule. The ads can be in either HTML or VB code format, any images can be used, and as far as I know, there is no limit on how big it can be.

Anyone who wants to try making a full page ad for the Pokemon RPG is more than welcome to try out. If you decide to use HTML, please post the code as well as a link to a screenshot of what it'd look like. For VB, use [code] tags to post the actual code, and again, include a screenshot.

Wait, we can make an advertisement for this forum, what besides pictures can we involve? Words, Links? Because I want to get started soon.

Words, links, music, anything you can put in using HTML coding is fair game. As far as I know there are no restrictions on size, content (within limits of course), or anything else of that nature.

That's really good Blue, but I have to ask, is it actually that small? I was sort of thinking of a larger sort of image, with texty stuff underneath it.

I love how you can almost tell who made them simply by the choice of sprites on the sides.

The onlt differences I can see are in the sharpness, the Sneasel, and the GW text. I'm really looking for something bigger.

Pulse, that's actually really good. I think what I'll wind up doing is setting a rotater so a different one pops up each time. Blue, if you could possibly make that closer to the size of mine and Pulse's, I could throw yours in as well. If of course that's what I end up doing. I dunno. I'll have to talk to Goku about the finished product anyway.

When we get our new updaters. I know we've been saying that for a while, but it's winding down. If Teal and HHH are at all active over the next couple of days, we'll be totally done. And then you'll get accepted.

And so ya'll know, the first advertisement is up. That one was made by BG, so it's pretty and HTML. Again, any HTML ads would be super great. If not that, then an image would be great. :^:

Personally Pontus's is good but could have some more things added to it. Blue's yours is a good I like it, Take out the Sneasal[/sarcastic] And Linux, Its interests me, I have Photoshop Elements 3.0 and I did mine in it, (Its old as hell). I would love to see everyone in the advertisement! Can I make another? Plus, When is it our turn to Advertise?

I think BEg does good work... He made my current sig... I can help him out with sigs and such if he needs, but I really think advertisng in our sigs will be most effective. Right now I have seen but only two sigs with even a link here (mine and Linux's).

Pulse, if I decide on the randomizer idea, you're going to have to remake yours so the advertisement isn't in the image because no one else's is.

In a related story, now someone needs to write a coherent advert to go under the banner itself. Just some text would be nice, I'll worry about making it look all prettiful.
