Gecko: All right! I'm finally ready to start my pokemon adventure. C'mon Farfetch'd, let's go find us a trainer to take down.

Sorry I'm on a kind of LOA. I got grounded, so I'm only allowed like 20 mins of computer each day...
~~~~~~~~~~
You walk down the path for what seems like an eternity and finally spot a trainer. The trainer is holding up a Pokeball, smiling proudly. The trainer then noticed you and jogged over.
Cooltrainer: "Hey my name is Jake. I just caught this super sweet Pokemon! Want to battle?"
ROA (Reduced Online Activity) duly noted. Since you're not really leaving, per say, you get an ROA.
~~~

Gecko: Hmm. Sounds good, but I'm thinking you might be trying a bit of a ploy here. How do I know you don't have multiple strong pokemon, and are waiting for me to toss mine out before you pick yours, giving yourself a type advantage? Well, how about this. Send something out before my ball hits the ground, and you've got yourself a battle!

With that, Gecko hefts the ball containing his Farfetch'd high up into the air, aiming it so that it will land about a third of the way to Jake.

Cooltrainer: Dang you caught my trick. Your smarter then some of the other trainers I have faced. Go Charmander! Hopefully that is the right choice, it was either him or Geodude.

Charmander jumps out of his Pokeball ready to face whatever comes at him.

Gecko: Darn. *the pokeball lands* I would actually have preferred Geodude. Farfetch'd, go! Sand-Attack now!

Gabby Jay

Farfetch'd nods and quacks in understanding. Charmander charges at Farfetch'd who kicks up some sand and throws it right at Charmander's face. It dazes Charmander, who throws an ember which still manages to barely knick Farfetch'd's back feathers for a little damage.

Gecko: All right Farfetch'd, lets show him what we're made of. Go in with a Peck attack if it uses Growl, a Sand-Attack to extinguish the flames if it uses Ember, and a Steel Wing to counter its Scratch attack!

Charmander launches an Ember at Farfetch'd, whom quickly launches a Sand-Attack, extinguishing the flames. Then Charmander charges Farfetch'd, who reaches back with its wing, loading up for a strong Steel Wing. Before Farfetch'd is able to hit Charmander, however, Charmander gets in a Scratch on Farfetch'd for decent damage as it is a tad faster than Farfetch'd. But not fast enough as Charmander is unable to avoid Farfetch'd and he gets plonked in the head by Steel Wing for strong damage.

Gecko: Good shot Farfetch'd, now hit it with Peck while it's still close. After that, flap your wings hard to create a Sand-Atatck, and fly backwards to put some distance between the two of you.

Farfetch'd lunged at Charmander with a Peck attack, which caught Charmander on the paw. It began to get angry and reached back with its claws, but not quickly enough as Farfetch'd flapped its wings hard to great a massive Sand-Attack, temporarily blinding Charmander. Charmander began panicking, sending Embers everywhere. One almost hits Farfetch'd, who dodges it barely. Another hits an innocent Caterpillar walking over trying to see what the commotion was. Another Ember flies up and hits you in the head setting your hat on fire!

Alice!
April 24th, 2006, 10:38 PM
Gecko: Gah! *tosses down and stomps on hat* Farfetch'd, that thing's a menace, take it down! Dodge its attacks and hit it with Steel Wing across the side. Use your wing as a sword!

Farfetch'd charged at Charmander, who was still disoriented now scratching wildly disobeying it's trainers every command. Farfetch'd easily dodged the poor Scratch attacks, and came in for a strong Steel Wing, hurting Charmandre badly. It looks weak...

FINISH IT!

Gecko: Yes! Farfetch'd, use precision attacks. Strike it with Peck while dodging its poorly aimed Scratch attacks. Use Sand-Attack if it gets too close to you.

Farfetch'd went in and easily pecked the weak Charmander for a finishing move. Charmander faints, you win!

Cooltrainer: "Grr, you got lucky this time! Mark my words, I will beat you one day! Here's 20 bucks for winning!"

Before running away Jake tosses you a stack of money. You look at the stack and notice it is actually closer to 100 dollars, whoops his mistake.

Farfetch'd + Level, +$125

Now what?

A) Go to the next town
B) Find a wild Pokemon
C) Find a trainer
D) Climb a tree
E) Floss
F) Juggle
G) Party with your Pants off

Gecko: All right Jake. You're kind of bizzare. And I'm talking to myself. Ah, well. I'mma climb a tree and look for a wild pokemon now!

Gabby Jay

You climb a nice big cedar tree, enjoying the smell of the wood as you climb. Then you notice a small mammal hanging on to a tree eating leaves. What now?

A) Approach it
B) Make wierd noises at it
C) FIGHT IT!!

Gecko: Bizarre. Hola chikito! Let's see what you are. *scans with pokedex* And while I'm at it...*drops pokeball onto branch to bring out Farfetch'd*

Your Pokedex starts talking to you: Slakoth the Slacker Pokemon. It sleeps virtually all day and night long. It doesn't change its nest its entire life, but it sometimes travels great distances by swimming in rivers.

Just when it finishes your Pokeball falls next to the slumbering Slakoth waking it up. It yawns at Farfetch'd then continues hanging on the branch.

Gecko: Bizarre. What a bum. Ah well, maybe he could be useful. Maybe useful as trade bait, if nothing else. Farfetch'd, use Peck on the base of the stick he's on to drop that sucker to the ground.

Gabby Jay
May 2nd, 2006, 10:25 PM
Farfetch'd Pecks the stick that Slakoth is sleeping on, sending it screaming to the ground. Slakoth lands awkwardly, taking large damage. Farfetch'd flys down by Slakoth(who is loafing around), ready to attack.

Gecko: Hehe. What a lazy pokemon. It might even be worse than Snorlax. Well, anyway Farfetch'd time to show this pokemon who's boss. Hit it with Steel Wing as hard as you can while its not moving, and aim for the head to do extra damage.

Gabby Jay

Farfetch'd goes in and hits Slakoth with a massive Steel Wing to the head dealing massive damage. Yet then Farfetch'd falls asleep! Slakoth reaches out and Scratches Farfetch'd right across the face for a critical hit! Farfetch'd dozes through the attack, then Slakoth starts loafing around.

Gecko: Gah! *picks up small stone* Wake up Farfetch'd! *tosses stone at Farfetch'd* C'mon, this things tougher than we thought. This is no time to be sleeping on the job!

Gabby Jay
May 7th, 2006, 10:53 PM
The stone strikes Farfetch'd in the beak, waking it up. It shakes its head irritably, as if trying to shake off something on its beak, and looks a little angry at being woken up in such a manner. Slakoth continues to loaf around, and smiles happily when it looks at you.

Alice!
May 7th, 2006, 10:57 PM
Gecko: Sorry Farfetch'd, you needed it. Now use Steel Wing on it again, try to smack it away. It seems to alternate between attack and lazy, so keep your distance for a little bit.

I just realized, your competition is over! You have 24 hours to post comments and such before I'll close this thread.

Farfetch'd reaches back with a strong Steel Wing and smacks Slakoth accross the face with a critical hit. Slakoth weakly swipes at Farfetch'd missing on its Scratch attack, then weakly lays down to hang around.

FINISH SLAKOTH!

Wait, I'm at 25 posts its over...that was quick...

Hah, I know, it goes faster than you realize, doesn't it?

Anyway, good job and all, we're getting pretty close to being done with this thing. Keep an eye out for the results to be posted after two more people (most likely HHH and Teal) reach 25.
