Updater Competion: Tayledras

[Alice!]

Gecko: All right! I'm finally ready to start my pokemon adventure. C'mon Farfetch'd, let's go find us a trainer to take down.

[Tayledras]

You look around for a trainer to battle, and what's this? You see a kid with touseled blond hair and thick glasses grinning at you like a maniac. "Hey you!" he yells, "Want to battle! You look like a new trainer, so I'll even take it easy on you."

[Alice!]

Gecko: Hehe, is that right? I choose you Farfetch'd! make your move, kid.

[Tayledras]

The kid gets an evil look in his eyes, and tosses out a pokeball.
"C'mon, Shuckle!"

With a pop and a flash of light, the Shuckle appears. It takes one look at the Farfetch'd and pulls itself into it's shell.

[Alice!]

Gecko: *groan* A Shuckle? Well...whatever. Go Farfetch'd! Hit that putz with a Steel Wing as hard as you can.

[Tayledras]

Farfetch'd flaps forwards and smacks the Shuckle with both wings, sending it flying into the air. Farfetch'd looks up at the soaring Shuckle with a gleam in it's eye, suddenly a bright flash of light comes outta nowhere and dazes Farfetch'd.
"Good job Shuckle, now use Constrict!" The other trainer shouts.

[Alice!]

Gecko: Uggh. Farfetch'd, cut the...whatevers that it uses for Constrict with Steel Wing, then blind it with Sand-Attack.

[Tayledras]

Farfetch'd smacks at Shuckle's little tentacle thingys with his wings, knocking them back, then tries to slap sand into it's face. Unfortunately, the Shuckle pulls it's head back into it's shell. Another bright light flashes, and the tentacle/leg reaches out to constrict Farfetch'd yet again.

[Alice!]

Gecko: Farfetch'd give it your all! Dodge that Constrict attack and hit Shuckle with both Steel Wings to knock it into the air, then jump up and spike it into the ground.

[Tayledras]

Farfetch'd manages a dodge to the side, but when he goes to attack he misses by a good two feet. The Shuckle then proceeds to pin his wings and squeeze with another constriction attack.

[Alice!]

Gecko: C'mo Farfetch'd, you're better than that. Use your Keen Eye to watch it's movement's, then break out of its tentacles things and dash forward to hit it with the same Steel Wing attack.

[Tayledras]

((You should have specified that your Farfetch'd had Keen Eye, rather than Inner Focus, both are possible.))

Farfetch'd shakes its head, as if to clear its vision, then leaps forward with a double smack to the Shuckle. The Shuckle pulls itself into its shell at the last second, avoiding some of the damage.

[Alice!]

There's a reason I used that phrasing in the post. Do designate that's what it had. Meh.

Gecko: Damn that shell's annoying. C'mon Farfetch'd, use your Steel Wing attack like a blade to try to crack open that shell. If that doesn't work, hit it as far as you can. with Steel Wing.
