You: Professor!! Can I have my Pokemon?

Professor: Hmmm... I do have one left... ok, you can have it...

You: Yes!! Thank you so much Professor!!

You take your Pokemon and run outside in excitement. You bump into another trainer.

Steve: It's about time you showed up. And judging by your Pokemon, the Professor didn't have anything else...

You: Don't talk about my Pokemon like that!!

Steve: Make me. Go, Totodile Lv. 5!!

You send out your Pokemon, ready to battle. Make your move.

ok. this is it charmander. our first battle together. use scratch, but look out for any water he may shoot out at you

Charmander runs at Totodile, who also runs at Charmander. The two both use Scratch and lock claws, then do the same for the other. Charmander spins off to the side and hits Totodile in the side with Scratch.

good work, now scratch him again while he is not expecting it, and if he comes at u like last time, sidestep him at the last second so he runs past u makeing for an easy shot

The two stare each other down again, and run at each other. At the last moment, Charmander sidesteps, but Totdile jumps up, causing Charmander's Scratch to miss. Totdile lands behind Charmander and uses Scratch, dong some damage.

Charmander runs at Totodile, who hangs back this time. Charmander watches Totodile's claws so intently that Totodile trips Charmander as it runs by. Charmander falls down, then whirls around and parrys Totodile's Scratch, then hits Totdile with a Scratch of its own.

thats what im talking about. you saw him coming and you blocked his attack. now remember you cant just focus on his claws, but his whole body. but remember that we can do this by planting him with yet another scratch

Charmander nods and stands its ground. Totodile takes a running jump into a tree. And stays there.

good. he set himself up. just play the waiting game, and when that totidile jumps out of the tree, he will be totally vuneralble, and you can go in and preform a scratch. but remember scratch up underneath him, so that he will be injured worse by the momentum he gains from falling

Charmander stares up at the tree. And is blinded by the sun as he tracks Totodile when it jumps up. Totodile takes the opportunity to get a Scratch in before leaping back. Charmander runs forward in a blind rage, decapitating a few flowers as well as hitting Totdile with Scratch.

ok, we made a mistake with that tree and the sun, but good work making up for it, but nice job on the recovry. However, you are getting to fustrated. just calm down, keep up with what were doing, and we can win. now go hit him with another scratch

Charmander centers himself and pays more attention to Totodile's movements. Totodile runs and leaps at Charmander again. This time, Charmander ducks down and rakes Totodile's belly with his claw, doing damage.

Charmadner runs at Totdile with its head down. Totdile sidesteps at the same time as Charmadner. Charmander headbutts Totdile backwards.

come one man, you cant let him do that to us. you have to protect your eyes, it is one of the most vulnerable spots on your body. in fact if you can scratch him in the eyes, unless that will leave you open for and attackk, the just scratch him wherever

I'd recommend restructuring it for when you have more than one pokemon. Like putting your attacks and abilities in the slot with the pokemon. Check my thread for a very kick-ass example.

Rattata jumps up and bites onto Charmanders tail. Charmander spins around rapidly. Rattata flies off and hits a tree. Charmander is a bit woozy.

Charmander runs at the Rattata and hits it with Scratch quickly. Rattata turns quickly, runs under Charmander's legs, and bites onto its tail, holding tight. Charmander cries out and tries to shake Rattata off, but it holds on.

come on charmander, be tough, now turn around and hit him with a scratch right inbetween the eyes, tust me the pain u cause him will force him to let go

Charmander regains its composure and Scratches at Rattata, but Rattata lets go at the last moment and Tackles Charmander in the face. Charmander hits Rattata with Scratch, and it goes down to his knees and starts panting heavily.

Pidgey uses kicks up sand at Charmander as it runs in, blinding it temporarily. Charmander hits a stump with Scratch. On the bright side, it was a critical hit. Don't ask me how you managed to crit a stump.... Anyway, Pidgey Tackles Charmander, and the stump vaporizes.

ok charmadar, we messed up. now wait for pidgy to attack you 1st(didnt look right when i spelt it lol) and when he is in range, then go in for a scratch, and scratch it the same way you scratched that... stump. in other words scratch him the same way as the stump for critical hit, just rember to use you head in this battle. and i mean think, not use you head to attack

Charmander waits for Pidgey to attack, who rushes in with Tackle. Charmander dodges to the left and hits it on the side with Scratch. Pidgey scrapes the ground to spin on a dime and Tackles Charmander in the belly.

good job charmadar, just rember that this bird can fly, so we have to becarful about quick dives from the air, quick turns, and also dont follow him if he is getting close to the air, also if he is diving for you run in a zig-zag line. rember these for future refernce, now wait and go for another scratch

Charmander stands its ground as Pidgey flys up into the air. Pidgey dives at Charmander, who runs forward, zig-zagging. Pidgey crashes into the ground just in front of Charmander, sending up a cloud of dust. Pidgey Tackles Charmander amidst the chaos, then flys above the cloud, readying another attack.

now, rattata, i know that this is the first time you are fighting with me, but we can win, now i want you to use your speed to win. when his pidgy comes down dodge at the last second and then tackle him

Pidgey eyes up Rattata, and you can almost see it grinning. Rattata holds its ground as Pidgey dives at it, and jumps up at the last second, Tackling Pidgey in the belly. Pidgey grunts, and grabs Rattata with its claws and flies up.

Rattata bites Pidgey's leg. Pidgey flys at the ground, and slams Rattata into a rock. Rattata, unfortunately, has to disobey your orders and let go due to the blinding pain. Fortuantely, it hits Pidgey under the left wing before it can fly away.

ok ratatta, no offense to you but, this pidgy is two strong for you. now return and go charmandar.

ok charmandar, we know what to do. i want you to bide your time, watch out for any of his dive attacks that he has been doing. if he goes for a dive, just throw your claws into him and scratch him.

Charmander waits for Pidgey, who soars directly above Charmander. Charmander accidentally looks into the sun, and Pidgey takes that opportunity to attack. Pidgey dives down and narrowly misses hitting Charmander due to its disoriented stagger. Charmander sees a flurry of feathers and starts Scratching wildly, a couple of which connect to do decent damage.

great job charmander, just rember that the sun will hurt your eyes. this has happend before, and just dont let it happen agian. now when that bird brain attacked he showed his wings were injured, so that is our primary objective to attack the wings. also for future reference, when he goes for quick dives, jump out of thye way at the last second causing him to slam into the ground

Pidgey lunges forward and hits Charmander in the belly with Peck. Charmander hits it in the wing with Scratch, and Pidgey jumps backward while hitting Charmander with Sand-Attack.

ok charmandar u have to watch out for his attacks by dodging. u know this. next time he comes in with an attack jump on him and stick the flame on your tail underneath his wings and burn his feathers off(if it is legal in this game) if it is not legal just go in with a scratch

Charmander dodges Pidgey's nest lunge and sticks its tail in Pidgey's wing. Pidgey gets a slight burn, then bites Charmander's tail, causing some damage.

A while later you stumble across a lake. You run over and fill your canteen, then take a deep drink. Immediately you spit it out, the water is disgusting. You lie back, thirsty and contemplative. Without realiizing it, you fall asleep. You are awoken by small waves lapping at your feet. When you sit up you notice that the water is much purer than it was before. You thirstily drink some, then realize how strange it is. Glancing up, you see a radiant blue dog standing on the water looking directly at you. A cold wind blows up out of nowhere, and you start to shiver. The dog races towards you in leaps and bounds, then jumps over your head as the purest water you've ever tasted rains down. You whip out a vial the proffesor gave you and take a sample. The dog runs off, and the wind dies down.

Pure Water (key item) obtained.

A: Now what?

'Kay. You wander about and stumble upon something funny looking. A small, yellowish pokemon with two pointed ears and brown shoulder pads is eating some foliage.

Charmander runs towards the clearing, and the pokemon suddenly appears in front of him. Charmander Scratches as the pokemon punches, the attacks collide and they both go flying back.

ok charmander, watch out for those fist. im guessign he is an electric pokemon, so go in with a scratch, and dodge his punches

You could, of course, use an online pokedex to try to figure it out. Hint: not electric.

now i know what is is charmander. i am pretty sure it is a hitmonchan. so im srry charmander, but you need to return and let ratatta go for his feet, cause if we make it so he cant stand he cant fight.

rattata go in with a bite on his ankle and let go when he tries to puch you off and get out of the way, he will hit his own leg by this

Well...that plan doesn't really work because of the basic anatomy of what you're fighting, so I'll give you another chance. Which isn't a Hitmonchan. What you're fighting is about three feet high and has a tail. Hint: Look at Mainecoon's dex, around where she started fighting the Aipom, Jeffie's before he started fighting the Yanma, and RipTide's just recently for a very easy way to identify a pokemon.

ABRA. hieght is 2'11. it is a yellow color, and has a long tail with brown sholderpads. and it does have thunder punch. that is what he has been using charmander. no i dont want to rish him taliporting away, so ill throw a pokeball. aslo charmandar use the prz-heal

Charmander runs and rolls to avoid its punch. Charmander slices at Abra and hits naught but empty air. Abra punches Charmander in the back the head, doing a good chunk of damage.

ok ratatta, hears what i want you to do, go in a stand infront of a rock or a tree or somthing hard(not my head cause i know ur game lunix:D ) and dodge right before abra punches u, and when he is nursing his fist go in with a bite square in his back.

Rattata runs in front of a boulder and waits for Abra. Abra runs and punches, but Rattata gets out of the way. Abra then dissapears in a small puff of smoke.

ah ****, forgot about the taleportation. ok rattata, look alert. look in all directions for where he will reapear, and once you spot him go at him with a bite and dodge any attacks he might use

Rattata lokks around nervously for Abra, who is nowhere to be found. Abra suddenly appears in front of Rattata with its fist reared back. Rattata bites at it as it punches, and the two attacks collide. The two go flying backwards from Rattata's perspective and land in a heap on the ground.
