*Chirp* *Chirp*

You wake up to the sound of the birds and look at your alarm clock. 10:00?!?! You forgot to set your alarm and now you're gonna be late. You quickly throw clothes on and run outside. You see a crowd of people walking away from a house down the block. You run pass the crowd into the house.

You: Professor! Can I have my Pokemon?

Professor: Hmmm.... I do have one left.... Ok, you can have it!

You: Yes! Thank you so much Professor!

You take your Pokemon and run outside in excitement. You bump into another trainer.

Steve: It's about time you showed up. And judging by your Pokemon, the Professor didn't have anything else....

You: Don't talk about my Pokemon like that!

Steve: Make me. This pokemon may not be very good, but luckily, I snagged a TM from some stupid little kid! Go, Cubone Lv. 5!

You send out your Pokemon, ready to battle. Make your move.

[Mainecoon]

(( Haha. The professor only gave me one Pokemon. XP Whatever. ))

I smile at the thought of my first Pokemon battle, but roll my eyes, "You ripped off a TM from some little kid, Steve?"

I pull a PokeBall off my belt and throw it into the air, "Go . . . Machop!"

Machop comes out of the PokeBall.

"But maybe it's because you knew you can't beat me. Unfortunatly, stealing isn't going to help you."

Machop grins as I give him the order: "Leer, Machop!"

[Alice!]

Thought I should mention that I'm only gonna let you use Mareep for this one. Ya know, for continuities sake.

[Mainecoon]

(( Okay . . . So what happened with Machop? ))

[Alice!]

Well...just repost with a new opening attack. That Machop thing never happened. Or something. Maybe time itself was warped and wrapped around Machop, sending it back. And only letting you use Mareep....

[Mainecoon]

(( Hey, how come Julia got to bring over one more Pokemon then I did? ))

I smile at the thought of my first Pokemon battle, but roll my eyes, "You ripped off a TM from some little kid, Steve?"

I pull a PokeBall off my belt and throw it into the air, "Go . . . Mareep!"

Mareep comes out of the PokeBall.

"But maybe it's because you knew you can't beat me. Unfortunatly, stealing isn't going to help you."

I then give Mareep the order: "Tackle, Mareep!"

[Alice!]

Der. Didn't notice that....

Steve: Oh come off it! You're so high and mighty with that Mareep of yours. This Cubone couldn't do anything 'till I got my hands on that TM, and now I'm gonna beat you with it.

Cubone watches Mareep for a moment, then takes off towards it at high speed, jumps up, and slashes with its bone. The attack connects, causing damage to Mareep. Luckily, the wool absorbed a lot of the attack. Mareep quickly gets a Tackle in from behind while Machop isn't watching.

[Mainecoon]

(( Hah. XP You called Cubone a Machop. ))

"Great job, Mareep! Now another Tackle! Put all your weight into it!"

[Alice!]

Hah. XP You called Mareep a Machop a while ago.

Mareep Tackles as Cubone speeds towards it. The two collide, and Mareep flies back with a gash on its face. Cubone lands on its feet, then drops to its knees, visibly shaken.

[Mainecoon]

(( Woops! Edited that. =P ))

I smile at the damage done to Cubone, and watch Mareep, hoping he is alright, even with a gash on his face. Once Mareep nods, ready for another order, I congragulate it, "Great job, Mareep! Do your best! Tackle that Cubone again!" I watch both the Pokemon, excited and eager to learn the outcome.

[Alice!]

Mareep runs at Cubone, who lets out a Growl. Mareep is distracted for a bit and only glances Cubone, who turns and hits Mareep with Tail Whip. Mareep then Tackles Cubone in the back.

[Mainecoon]

I watch Cubone, and decide he had a good idea that time, and I try to get Mareep to succeed in it as well, "Try a Growl attack, Mareep! Then another Tackle!"

[Alice!]

Cubone runs backwards a bit, then speeds forward and jumps into the air. Mareep Growls, but Cubone's aim rings true as it hits Mareep with the bone again. However, as soon as Cubone lands he falls, apparently just then feeling the effects of Growl. Mareep then rams Cubone with a strong Tackle, sending it flying back.

[Mainecoon]

I smile with delight in Mareep's accomplishment, and engourage him, "Awesome job, Mareep! You're doing great!" I then order to attack with the only move he knows, "Tackle again, Mareep!"

[Alice!]

Mareep charges again as Cubone crashes into Mareep. The two are sent sprawling again, but this time Cubone has a lot of trouble getting up. Apparently it doesn't like slamming into things.

[Mainecoon]

I watch Cubone get hit by Mareep again, and wonder why it has not been paralyzed this whole match, since it has touched Mareep plenty of times, "Mareep, attack with Tackle agai! Try to slam Cubone into anything close to you as hard as you can! You can do it, boy!"

[Alice!]

Cubone runs back as Mareep charges, then quickly jumps back and slashes Mareep across the back. Mareep Tackles Cubone for decent damage, and Cubone hits Mareep with Tail Whip.

[Mainecoon]

(( What % is each of the Pokemon's HP at now? =P ))

(( Is my first egg free like on the last role-play? o.o ))

Smiling, I cheer Mareep on, "You're doing a great job, Mareep! Don't give up! Tackle attack against Cubone again!"

[Alice!]

Well, they're getting lower. Cubone is slightly lower, but your not supposed to now that, so I'm not gonna answer questions like this anymore. And yeah, first egg is free.

Mareep charges Cubone before it can back up enough to build up any momentum, and Mareep knocks Cubone back head over heels. Cubone jumps up, then lunges at Mareep, making contact straight between Mareep's eyes. A small amount of blood begins running down Mareep's forehead.

[Mainecoon]

(( Sorry. I didn't know I wasn't allowed to ask. ))

With a scared look on my face, I use a Potion on Mareep to help him heal, "Now, Tackle that Cubone again, Mareep! Do your best! I know you can win this!"

[Alice!]

Mareep glares at Cubone and paws at the ground. As Cubone runs and jumps, Mareep intercepts it with Tackle, bringing it down hard. Cubone cries out in pain and clutches its head, falling to the ground.

Finish Cubone

[Mainecoon]

Knowing Mareep can now win the battle, I command him to attack Cubone for the last time, "Mareep! Use a strong Tackle once more! You've got this!" I smile, and watch my Mareep with confidence.

[Alice!]

Mareep grins and rams Cubone as hard as it can with Tackle. Cubone faints.

Steve: Gah! That stupid Aerial Ace didn't help at all. Fine. I'll beat you when I have better pokemon!

Steve runs off. And accidentally drops $200. Whoops.

Level up for Mareep + $200

A: Go see the prof
S: Go see your mum

[Mainecoon]

A: Go see the profI smile and run over to Mareep, petting him on the head and congragulating him. After I'm sure he knows I'm proud of him, I return him to his PokeBall, and pick up the money my foolish rival dropped. I think a moment, then turn and walk over to the Pokemon Professor.

[Alice!]

You walk into the lab, and walk towards the back. As you approach, you see a cluster of people talking excitedly. You notice that the professor is in the middle, holding something up.

[Mainecoon]

Curiously, I walk forward, and try to find out what's going on. I listen for what the Professor is saying (if anything) and try to see what is being held up to the crowd.

[Alice!]

You edge closetr anf can make out what the Prof is saying.

Prof: And as I was saying, I discovered this egg! My research on pokemon breeding is going quite well. I believe that if kept near other pokemon, this egg will hatch! As a matter of fact, our best trainer was on his way to pick it up...funny though. He should have been here by now. Has anyone seen Steve!

[Mainecoon]

I'm intrested in the new find, until the Professor mentions my simply loveable rival. I sigh, and walk away to see my mother before I leave town.

[Alice!]

As you leave the crowd starts to disperse. You get to your house, and you mom asks you how you're doing with your new pokemon.

[Mainecoon]

I smile and hug my mother, "I'm doing great, mom. I just won against my rival, and I wanted to say good-bye to you before I go off to battle some more Pokemon."

[Alice!]

Mother: Oh, that's great sweety. I hope you can become a great trainer someday. Now then, you should probably be off. But first, I have a ltitle present for you.

+ 2 Potions, 1 Antidote, 1 Parlyz Heal, 1 Poke Flute

[Mainecoon]

I smile, and hug my mother, "Thanks so much, mom! This'll help me a lot!" I chat with my mother a little bit about nothing really, and then head off to begin my Pokemon adventure.

(( Is my newborn Sentret level 5? ))

[Alice!]

Yeah, all egg pokemon are level five.

As you are about to leave, the Prof starts chasing you.

Prof: Wait up! *you stop* Phew. *pantpant* Thanks for stopping.... *pantpant* Anyway, I was just wondering, was it you who beat Steve?

[Mainecoon]

I look kind of confused, and then suspicious, "Umm . . . Yea, I did Professor . . . Why? Am I in trouble now?" I look a little nervous and hope I didn't do anything against any rules in my very first battle.

[Alice!]

Ya'll have sevem pokemon in your party. Please designate one to be in the PC. Pokemon in Trainer City count towards your party limit.

Prof: Oh, so that was you! I was wondering if you'd do me a favor. Steve was going to carry this egg around with him, and I was wondering if you would do it for me?

[Mainecoon]

(( Alright. =P ))

"Oh," I smile at the Professor, glad I'm not in trouble, and even more gleeful that I was being giventhe opportunity to take over Steve's position. "Of course, Professor! I'd love to!"

[Alice!]

Prof: Great! Thanks a lot. *hands over egg* Well, good luck Michelle. Have fun!

[Mainecoon]

I take the egg, and put it away carefully, then turn back to the Professor, "What would you like me to do if or when it hatches, Professor?"

[Alice!]

Prof: Just give me a call at a Pokemon Center, okay? I'm programmed into all the databases.

[Mainecoon]

A: Leave town
S: Do other thingsI nod, and smile at the Professor, "I'll take good care of the egg, Professor. Thank you." I then leave town.

[Alice!]

As you leave town you run straight into an incredibly contrived plot device. Four pokeballs containing your old pokemon, complete with Egg Moves are just sitting there. Hooray!

[Mainecoon]

A: Find wild pokemonI smile, and take them happily. I put their PokeBalls on my belt, and continue with the route.

[Alice!]

You walk along amiably, leaving your old life behind. Welcome to your pokemon adventure! After wlaking along for a short while, you hear a rustle coming from the trees. Upon closer examination you notice something swinging from the trees.

[Mainecoon]

I stop in my tracks, and look around. After I find which tree has the rustle, I walk closer, and look around curiously without touching the tree, or moving anything . . . Just in case it was dangerous.

[Alice!]

You approach silently and notice something above you. "PomPom!" Looks like a pokemon!

[Mainecoon]

I pull out my Pokedex, and point it at the wild Pokemon, "What could this one be . . ." I wonder, but at the same ime, I grab onto a PokeBall off my belt, ready for a battle if need be.

[Alice!]

Beep! Aipom, the Long Tail pokemon. It uses its hand-like tail to swing from trees. However, its hands are rather clumsy.

[Mainecoon]

(( Can my Horsea fight when there is no water around? ))

I smile, looking at the picture of the long-tail Pokemon in my Pokedex. "Wow. An Aipom. How adorable." I look around, trying to see it, and throw out a PokeBall, "Go, Trapinch!"

[Alice!]

Sure, why not. It can balance on its tail or something.

Aipom lands in front of your Trapinch. "Pompom!" Aipom balances on its tail and grins at Trapinch. "Aipom!"

[Mainecoon]

(( Great! Thanks. ))

I smile at the small Pokemon, "Hiya, Aipom! Want to have a Pokemon Battle!?"

[Alice!]

"Pompom!" Aipom kicks sand in Trapinch's eyes and then Scratchs it with its hand-like tail.

[Mainecoon]

A little suprised at the responce I got from the wild Aipom, I quickly order Trapinch to attack back, "Quick Attack, Trapinch!"

[Alice!]

Trapinch rushes forward with Quick Attack and hits Aipom, causing it to lose its balance. Aipom kicks sand at Trapinch as it climbs up into the trees.

[Mainecoon]

I think a moment, wondering what to do, then give an order to Trapinch, "Trapinch, run to the tree, and smack it with your huge jaws. Maybe it will knock Aipom down, then use a Bite attack!"

[Alice!]

Trapinch smacks the tree, and Aipom slips and starts to fall. Aipom catches a low branch, and Trapinch Bites Aipom's ear. Aipom slingshots back up when Trapinch lets go, and lands hard on an open field.

[Mainecoon]

I smile, "Great job, Trapinch! Now, Quick Attack that Aipom!"

[Alice!]

Trapinch rushes at Aipom and hits it before it can move around too much. Aipom hurls a large clod of dirt in Trapinch's mouth with its tail and escapes by jumping back and latching onto a branch with its tail. Trapinch gags a bit, then eats the dirt.

[Mainecoon]

I look down at my Pokedex, with all the information about Aipom, and read: 'AIPOM's tail ends in a hand-like appendage that can be cleverly manipulated. However, because the POKE'MON uses its tail so much, its real hands have become rather clumsy.'

This gives me an idea, and I quickly give Trapinch an order, "Trapinch, ram the tree, and try to knock Aipom down again! This time Bite it's tail, so it'll hopefully be helpless in your grasp!"

(( That's the Pokedex of Aipom in Pokemon Ruby. Hope it's okay that I used it . . . ))

[Alice!]

That's fine. I always like to encourage strategy and thinking outside the box.

Trapinch rams the tree, but Aipom has already swung to another one. Trapinch keeps trying, and eventually gets Aipom's tree. Trapinch jumps up and Bites Aipom ferociously on the tail. Aipom yells out and tries to scramble away, but to no avail.

[Mainecoon]

"Great job, Trapinch! Now bite again! Deal out as much damage as you can!"

[Alice!]

Trapinch Bites hard, doing a lot of damage. Aipom squirms free and jumps into a tree, but is unable to hold on very well.

[Mainecoon]

I smile at Trapinch, glad the battle is going in my favor, "Ram the tree again, Trapinch, knock him down! Then use Quick Attack!"

[Alice!]

Trapinch shakes Aipom out of the tree and uses Quick Attack. Aipom tries to escape, but due to its injured tail, it can't, and Trapinch hits it again, knocking Aipom face first into the ground.

Finish Aipom

[Mainecoon]

(( I can capture Aipom after I beat him, right? Or do I need to do it now? ))

[Alice!]

You can beat him, get a level up, then catch it. The length of battles makes it evil to force the trainer to decide on a level or to catch the pokemon in question.

[Mainecoon]

(( Okay. ^_^ Thank you! ))

"You're doing great, Trapinch! Now do a Quick Attack, and finish him off!"

[Alice!]

Trapinch hits Aipom with a Quick Attack and knocks it out. You find $200.

I pull an empty PokeBall out of my pack, and throw it at the wild Aipom!

I smile, and congragulate Trapinch at his accomplishment. I then let Aipom go to my PC, and continue on, looking for trainers.

D: Find a trainer

[Alice!]

You look around for a bit, then see an old woman in a white robe down by a river. You go down to investigate, and once you get closer you can see that she is wearing a martial arts uniform and is sparring with an old man, who is also in uniform.

[Mainecoon]

I decide to leave them alone, and look for a trainer aorund my age, or some more wild Pokemon!

[Alice!]

As you wander along for a bit more you come upon a young female trainer. You approach, but suddenly notice that she's involved in her own battle.

Girl: C'mon Tangela, you can do it!

As you watch, a Tangela comes flying back and crashes into her, knocking her back towards you. She glances up.

Girl: Hey, are you a trainer! Please help me, these thugs stole my pack!

While she pleads, an overweight teenager wearing a ripped tanktop and a scrawnier guy wearing similar clothes step into plain sight.

Fatty: Oh, so you've got a friend now? Doesn't matter, we'll still crush you! Go Rhyhorn!

Skinny: Tear 'em to shreds Scyther.

Their pokemon come hurtling towards you.

A: Make your move

You will use Tangela and one of your pokemon for this fight. The Tangela is level 6, Female, and was bred to know the move Confusion.

[Mainecoon]

I smile, and send out Shuppet, "Shuppet, go up to Rhyhorn and provoke him. Throw a rock at him, or make fun of him. Just get his attention!"

"Tangela, use your Sleep Powder against Scyther! Keep trying until he's sleeping like a baby. Careful not to hit Shuppet, though!"

[Alice!]

Shuppet distracts Rhyhorn, who charges at Shuppet and tries to gore it with its horn. Shuppet spins off to the side and evades the attack. Tangela uses Sleep Powder on Scyther, sho beats its wings quickly to blow it away. Scyther zooms in and hits Tangela with Quick Attack.

[Mainecoon]

"Tangela, use your Constrict attack to hold Scycher down! Then use Sleep Powder to put Scyther to sleep! Shuppet, try to trick Rhyhorn into chasing you! Then try to trick him into running into a tree!"

[Alice!]

Tangela Constricts Scyther, pulling it in close. Scyther slashes wildly as Tangela uses Sleep Powder, then slowly stops and gets very drowsy. Scyther then falls to the ground, asleep. Meanwhile, Shuppet is still toying with Rhyhorn, making it run around a lot. Shuppet leads Rhyhorn towards a large tree, but Rhyhorn lunges at it with its horn, knocking it over and almost hitting Shuppet.

[Mainecoon]

"Good job, Tangela. Now use Confusion on Rhyhorn! Shuppet, keep Rhyhorn busy, letting him chase you. Go underground if you think Rhyhorn is too close!"

[Alice!]

Tangela stays near the sleeping Scyther and uses Confusion on the Rhyhorn as it chases Shuppet. Rhyhorn starts charging sporadically, and veers off towards the two bullys. They dive out of the way, and Rhyhorn turns on a dime and charges after you! You are about to dive out of the way when Rhyhorn Leers at you, freezing you to the spot. Shuppet swoops down in front of you and goes into the Rhyhorn as Tangela uses Confusion on it. The Rhyhorn drops to its knees and skids to a halt inches in front of you.

[Mainecoon]

I catch my breath, and look at Shuppet and Tangela thanksfully, "You two are a great team! I know you can do this now! Shuppet, lead Rhyhorn away while Tangela continues to use Confusion on Rhyhorn!"

[Alice!]

Shuppet leads Rhyhorn away from you as Tangela uses Confusion. Rhyhorn finally notices where the attacks are coming from, and sharges at Tangela. Tangela tries to get away, but Rhyhorn is too fast. Tangela is sent flying backwards as it is hit hard with Rhyhorn's horn.

[Mainecoon]

While watching, I try to think of a more clever plan, but come to no conclusion, "Shuppet! Use your Knock Off attack on Rhyhorn to grab Rhyhorn's attention!" Tangela, use Constrict on Rhyhorn to try and keep him still for Confusion!"

[Alice!]

Shuppet hits Rhyhorn, and Tangela Constricts it as it tries to retaliate. Rhyhorn is held down, and Tangela htis it with COnfusion. All of a sudden, you hear a faint rustling sound. You look at where the Scyther was lying, but it isn't there anymore. You call out to yout pokemon, but Scyther is faster and attack Tangela's tentacles with its wings, causing it to let go. Rhyhorn runs free.

[Mainecoon]

"Shuppet! Use your Knock Off attack to grab Rhyhorn's attention, and lead Rhyhorn into Tangela! Tangela, use your Sleep Powder attack on Rhyhorn, and Constrict on Scyther after that!"

[Alice!]

Shuppet lures Rhyhorn straight into Tangela. Tangela hits Rhyhorn with Sleep Powder, knocking it out cold. Rhyhorn's momentum carries it into Tangela anyway, and Tangela is damaged by Rhyhorn's horn landing on it. Scyther comes up behind Shuppet an instant later and slashes at it, doing a good chunk of damage.

[Mainecoon]

(( So, I take it the Knock Off attack didn't find anything from Rhyhorn? >_> ))

"Tangela, use your Confusion attack on Scyther! Shuppet, use a Knock Off attack to hit him into a tree!"

[Alice!]

Nope. Sorry.

Tangela hits the Scyther with Confusion, holding it stil long enough for Shuppet to hit it with Knock Off. A small piece of metal folded intracately flys off of Scyther and lands at your feet. Scyther spins in a circle rapidly and slices Tangela with its forearms.

[Mainecoon]

"Shuppet, hit Scyther with Knock Off just to bang Scyther off balance! Then, Tangela, use Constrict against Scyther to hold him!"

I pick up the metal thingy that fell at my feet, and try to figure out what it is.

[Alice!]

Shuppet hits Scyther with Knock Off, disrupting it slightly. Tangela Constricts Scyther doing some damage and holding it down.

You start playing with the metal, and it pops open in your hands. It looks almost like something certain pokemon could wear.

[Mainecoon]

I put the metal thingy in my pocket to look at after the battle, "Shuppet, Knock off Scyther to try and hurt Scyther by banging Scyther's head into the ground! Tangela, attack Scyther with Confusion while continuing to hold Scyther down!"

[Alice!]

Shuppet hits Scyther in the head, but only succeeds in knocking it down a little ways. Scyther quickly jerks its head up, hitting Shuppet. Tangela hits Scyther with Confusion, doing some damage. You feel the ground rumble, and Rhyhorn bursts onto the scene by sending Tangela sprawling with its horn.

[Mainecoon]

"Tangela! Sleep Powder on every Pokemon except for Shuppet!"

[Alice!]

Tangela sends bursts of Sleep Powder all over. Shuppet flies up, and Rhyhorn, Scyther, and Tangela all fall asleep. Whoops.

[Mainecoon]

"That's okay, Tangela! Use Confusion on Scyther as much as you can!"

[Alice!]

Tangela completely misses what you said, because it is asleep. Shuppet looks over the sleeping pokemon and tries to think of a good bedtime story.

[Mainecoon]

(( I misread, i guess. xD I thought Shuppet was sleeping. Oops. ))

"Shuppet, try to wake up Tangela!"

[Alice!]

Shuppet pokes Tangela. Tangela stirs groggily, and stands up, yawning.

[Mainecoon]

"Good job, Shuppet! Tangela, can you use your Confusion against Scyther now!?"

[Alice!]

Tangeal yawns and nods, then shakes its head an concentrates. You see waves of energy reach out towards Scyther and gently touching it. Suddenly, Tangela has a lapse in concentration, and accidentally hits Rhyhorn with a full blast, waking it up.

[Mainecoon]

"Kepe using Confusion, Tangela! Shuppet, use your Knock Off attack to hit Rhyhorn and hurt him!"

[Alice!]

Tangela continues to sleepily use Confusion and hits Rhyhorn. Rhyhorn hits Tangela with its horn as Shuppet hits it in the leg with Knock Off. Rhyhorn skids out of control and crashes into an enormous tree, cracking it.

Finish Rhyhorn

[Mainecoon]

"Tangela, use Confusion against Rhyhorn! Shuppet, use Knock Off to hit it's head into the cracked tree!"

[Alice!]

Tangela hits Rhyhorn with Confusion as Shuppet hits it with Knock Off. Rhyhorn faints.

Fatty: No way! Rhyhorn return!
Skinny: Calm down. Scyther's more then a match for them.

Suddenly, Tangela feels a long claw raking across its back. Scyther has woken up, and its not happy. It runs circles around Tangela, hitting it with its claws at every availible opportunity. Tangela takes heavy damage.

[Mainecoon]

"Shuppet, knock Scyther away from Tangela with Knock Off! Tangela, Use Confusion against Scyther!"

I turn to the owner of Tangela, "Do you have any potions for your Pokemon?"

[Alice!]

The trainer shakes her head and points at the thugs while clenching her other hand at her side. She calls out to her Tangela, C'mon Tangela! Knock that Scyther out! She then watches her Tangela with a look of beaming pride on her face.

Tangela nods and braces it self for impact. Scyther gets to Tangela before Shuppet can hit it, and hits Tangela hard, knocking up a cloud of dust. When the dust clears, you can see that Tangela has vines wrapped strongly around all of Scyther's limbs, holding it still. Shuppet does a happy lil' mid-air loop, then hits Scyther with Knock-Off while Tangela pelts it with Confusions. Scyther takes heavy damage.

[Mainecoon]

I smile, "THERE WE GO! Aweoms job!" I smile at the trainer and look back at the two Pokemon, "Shuppet, continue to use Knock Off against Scyther, and Tangela you use a powerful Confusion against Scyther! Do your best, both of you!"

[Alice!]

The two pokemon hit Scyther as a team for a bunch'a damage. Scyther spins on the spot with its forearms extended to dislodge Tangela. Scyther flys back and points its arm at Tangela. Then dissapears!

[Mainecoon]

"Shuppet, go underground! Tangela, keep your eyes wide open for when he re-appears!"

[Alice!]

Shuppet dives underground as Tangela looks about. Scyther suddenly appears behind Tangela and slashes at it, doing decent damage.

[Mainecoon]

"Shuppet, hit Scyther with a hard Knock Off! Try to get him stunned! Tangela, use your Constrict and Confusaion attack after that, both on Scyther!"

[Alice!]

Shuppet bursts up beneath Scyther and hits it from below, surprising Scyther enough that Tangela gets a strong hold with Constrict. Scyther thrashes, but Tangela holds tight. Tangela then hits it with COnfusion after Confusion, inficting massive damage.

Finish Scyther

[Mainecoon]

"Now, both of you attack Scyther together! Tangela, Confusion! Shuppet, Knock Off!"

[Alice!]

Shuppet hits Scyther at the same time as Tangela, knocking Scyther out.

Two levels up for Shuppet

Skinny: Damn! Scyther, return! See ya' later suckers!

The two run off, but are quickly grabbed by Tangela's vines.

Girl: Excuse me, but I think you have something of mine.
Skinny: Hehe...fine.

He tosses her pack to the ground. Tangela drops them both and they take off running.

Girl: Serves 'em right! And...thank you. Listen, I was wondering...would you mind if I traveled with you...at least for a while.

A: Accept
S: Decline

[Mainecoon]

A: AcceptI smile and nod, "Of course! Your bond with your Pokemon is very strong. I admire your relationship. My name is Michelle, by the way."

[Alice!]

Girl: Thanks, I'm Victoria.

A: Onwards to adventure!
S: Hang back a while.

[Mainecoon]

S: Hang back a while.I take the free moment to take the weird metal thingy that Scyther dropped during the battle (because of Knock Off) out of my backpack, and check it out. I try to figure out what it is.

[Alice!]

Victoria: What's that? May I see it?

You hand it over.

Victoria: Hmm...ah! This looks like a Metal Coat. I'm not surprised that come off of his Scyther. Metal Coat's are good for evolving Scythers, and one other pokemon that I can't quite remember.

[Mainecoon]

I smile, "Onix." I take the Metal Coat back an dput it on my bakpack for later use. "Well, we should get going."

[Alice!]

Victoria: Oh, of course. I'm so forgetful sometimes. Actually...howsabout we see what your other pokemon can do. I admire you Shuppet, but I'd like to see what else you have...

As she speaks, you can see her hand moving down to grab one of her pokeballs.

Victoria:...with a battle of course.

A: Accept
S: Decline

[Mainecoon]

A: AcceptI smile and nod at Victoria, "Sure. That would be fun."

[Alice!]

Victoria: All right, but I promise I won't go easy on you. Go Zubat!

[Mainecoon]

I smile, and throw out Mareep's PokeBall, "Go, Mareep! Tackle that Zubat!"

[Alice!]

Zubat flies up, then swoops down at Mareep's face, flapping its wings when it is about to hit, and propels itself backwards, perching on a tree branch a ways off.

A: Make your move

[Mainecoon]

"Growl, Mareep! Do your best to tackle it if it gets close enough!"

[Alice!]

Zubat zooms towards Mareep at incredible speed and hits it in the face before blasting backwards at top speed. Mareep hits it with Tackle when it flaps back, then falls over for no apparent reason.

[Mainecoon]

(( Mareep fell over or Zubat? ))

[Alice!]

Mareep. Have you ever seen a video of fainting goats? Sort of like that.

Sorry for not being more specific.

[Mainecoon]

I watch Mareep, horrified. What had happened? The last attack was by Mareep, so why fall over? I begin to encourage Mareep to rise; "Mareep! Get up, buddy! You can't just let Zubat hit you!"

[Alice!]

Mareep stumbles up and lurches back and forth drunkenly. Zubat snickers and ands on Mareep, biting it in the nack. Zubat starts drawing blood, and Mareep clumsily shakes Zubat off. Zubat flies off, blood dripping out of its mouth.

[Mainecoon]

I watch Mareep scared for his life as I recall him to his PokeBall. I then throw out Horsea, "Octazooka that Zubat, Horsea!"

[Alice!]

Horsea hurls a blob of ink at Zubat. Zubat gets hit in the face and looks blinded. Horsea relaxes a bit, but Zubat looks right at it and screeches loudly.

[Mainecoon]

"Horsea, concentrate! You can't let your guard down! Try a Bubble attack, now!"

[Alice!]

Zubat starts making audible screechihng sounds as it flies around Horsea. Horsea uses Bubble on Zubat, hitting it and washing off the ink. Zubat stops screeching and swopps down on Horsea with its mouth open. Horsea rolls out of the way and barely dodges the attack. Zubat flies up and bares it fangs.

[Mainecoon]

"Horsea, hit it with as many Bubbles as you can shoot at once! Do your best,and try to damage it's wing, if you can!"
