Dan!
[6000 Starting Chips]
Dan hasn't always shown what he's capable of. That was until GWPS III came around. In GWPS III Dan showed that he is a force to be messed with. He was the first to guarantee himself a final table seat, and with only one game left to play, he's now guaranteed to be our big stack at the GWPS III final table. Does that guarantee him a win? Maybe...but it'll be a tough road to climb.
Dean![4000 Starting Chips]
Another GWPS final table novice. Dean was impressive during GWPS III, and after clinching a win in his second to last game, guarantees himself a final table seat. He's the last one remaining of the current final table list that has the potential to move up in chip stack with one sit-in left. He could wind up with the second biggest stack, or he could stay where he is at the bottom. It's up to him to decide.
TranViet![3500 Starting Chips]
Ya know, I copied this layout from last season. And oddly enough, I didn't have to change this one. Once again, TranViet, the Asian Poker Phenom has once again guaranteed himself a final table seat. As usual, he played a great series. He was up and down in this one more than most, but all the same he made it to the finish line. We don't know quite where his chipstack will be yet, but he'll be at the table. And trust me, all TranViet needs is one chip, and he's a threat.
Believe The Sickness![3000 Starting Chips]
...know how I mentioned not changing things? Well I didn't have to change this one either. Well this one doesn't change either. Once again BTS played his brand of tight conservative poker. And in the end it paid off as he proved that he, as much as TranViet will be a force at any table.
JoetheShow![2000 Starting Chips]
When Shak and The Smart Patrol sadly couldn't make the final game. JoetheShow was awarded the very last seat of the final table. Good playing, Joe. You earned it.
-WILDCARD-
Coleman![2000 Starting Chips]
I hate to break it to ya sports fans, but I am your Wildcard seat. And here's why. As of now, Dean is already guaranteed a final table seat. If he were to do any better than second to last in his final game, he'd pass me. But he'd already be at the final table. Which means I'd be the only one that isn't, which means I'd have the Wildcard spot. And with only one game left, no one remaining in the field can catch me, even with a win in the final game. To be honest, I'm not sure how much I'll have in chips--something we forgot to work out--but all the same, I'll be there. Good luck. You'll need it.
(A Little Note: Something I hadn't considered, but I'm not sure how to mark it down. If Dean were to get at least two points at the final game. And Shak were to win, BTS would be involved in a heads up game with Shak for the final seat. Also if Shak were to win, and Dean were to get ONE point, it would be a three point showdown for the final seat.)
So all of those people are mentioned, but the order is a little crooked. Meh. Good luck anyway.
A big congratulations to those of you who have sealed your final table seat. Look for The Eye in the Sky! to kick ass with Live Play by Play coverage of the event, and Zell 17 with live interviews from the participants. Good luck to all! See you at the end!
