Welcome back kids, time to clean up after last nights game.

The bar has risen again, and we're getting ever closer to my 10 point mark prediction. Yours truly is (at present) off the regular final table list (unless canadaguy doesn't place in his next game) then I shall stay that way. Let's cut down to bi'dness.

As I See It:
Velocity is now out of final table contention. He played an up and down series that showed that he'll be a star in GWPS series to come, but in this one his dies short.

As I See It:
BigDaddy has now moved in to dangerous territory. His only hope at clinching a final table is back to back wins in his final two sit-ins. Can he do it? Maybe. But it'll be a struggle no matter what.

As I See It:
AlecTrevylan006 will NEED a win and a second place if he hopes to make it to the final table. While two back to back seconds will give him enough points to bump me off, he needs the full 10 if he hopes to stick to the top.

As I See It:
JoetheShow and Dean, after dissapointing finishes in the last game, are on the bubble this week. They will need at LEAST a second in their final sit-in if they even have a glimmer of hope to make it to the final table. If they were to win their final sit-in, they could even better standings, but a second would get the job done all the same.

As I See It:
Yes, I know I'm now number 6 in the rankings. But the only reason canadaguy is ahead of me is by sit-ins alone. If he were to not get points in his final game, we would be tied dead even. And in the event the rankings remained the same, we would go to a showdown to decide who would get the final seat at the table.

As I See It:
However, with strong performances in last nights game, both canadaguy and The Eye in the Sky! have put themselves on the map. If the standings stay the same, they're in. If my 10 point marker comes true, they'll be pushed just out of contention. Similar to how I was last week, THIS week, these two are on the bubble.

As I See It:
TranViet managed to score himself another point in last nights game, which gives him an even better standing. There are still a few people that can knock him down, but they'd need a lot of points to do it. He's got half the foot in the door of being guaranteed a final table seat.

And now, once again, for my favorite part of the show, the Wildcard talk.

Now that I am officially off of the top 5. At present, I am your Wildcard position, but, (heres the part YOU all want to hear) let's talk abot who can still knock me down.

Tom (The Eye in the Sky!) is now out of wildcard contention. He would have needed a win in his final sit-in to get my wildcard spot and he just missed that goal. Right now he has a seat the hard way, but if that doesn't hold up, it's back to writing play by play. (:P)

Dean is also out of contention for the wildcard spot. He finished last in last nights game, which makes it impossible for him to pass me in points. Sorry Dean-o.

JoetheShow however remains in contention. If he were to WIN his final game, he would beat me by one in the rankings, and would have a win which is all that's needed to seal my wildcard spot.

canadaguy pains me, for me personally, what I need is for him to either lose in last or second to last, or to win the whole table. If he wins the whole table, odds are he'll get to the final table the hard way. If he doesn't win the final table, but also DOESN'T finish last or second to last, he'll pass me in the POTS, and he'll take my wildcard seat.

Everything else remains the same!

Nah, I'm just playin. Even if that were the case, which I doubt you would allow, I wouln't want that.I want to be at the final table, but I play this series fair, I'm a hardass about things in this series becuase it's my baby, and I want it to be perfect, and smooth. I get mad when people say they're leaving, or intentionally try to lose in games becuase it demeans the series. That said, if you were to purposefully not get your last sit-in, not only would I ALLOW it, but I'd damn near commend you on it. You're playing the game within the game. It's no different than say if Dan were already guaranteed a final table, and him playing his last game in hopes to get MORE points. You'd be sitting out in hopes to grab a seat. It's part of the game, and if you really wanna do that, then go for it.

I still don't see why the game should count against me. I don't mean to bitch, but I only made it through three hands, all of which I folded, and I wasn't on any blinds at the time. I had no effect on the game at all, and my appearance was cut short by natural causes out of my control (my power going out throughout the night.)

The reason I played was because the weather guy said the winds were supposed to die down by about 9 PM. Well, they lasted until around 2 in the morning, so obviously, I wouldn't have been able to play anyway. Had the game started about five minutes later, then my power would've been out before the game even BEGAN, let alone I saw any cards.

By the time my Internet started working again and I sat back in, my power went out a second time before the game even restarted. It went out a few times after that...

Zell 17 told me that the game wouldn't count against me since I didn't even get to play. I'm kinda upset over it, considering this really affects me tournament-wise.

You've been removed becuase Brian is a stupid douchebag. I told him it was his choice if you counted and after the game, he gave me the eliminations list with you included and didn't tell me anything else. It is HIS fault. I say I kick him out next series.

Because of this move, BigDaddy is now OUT of final table contention. He only has two sit-ins remaining and now only 16 points, which even if he won both his last games, would not give him enough points to pass me.

Yeah, I just calculated everything and I know it is just a matter of time before I am eliminated... oh well. I finished no lower than 4th in every game I played and held decent or large chip leads in each one for long periods of time. I got two 2nds a 3rd and a 4th for points... I made some good progress in my battle with CnR so beware next series. I will get that elusive win.

But I am still planning on a more organized play-by-play for the final table this time with possible player profiles to start it out and maybe a little prediction thread a few days earlier. I'll still contribute to the good of the series. :^:

As I see it: I need points. I can still make the final table. I have 5 points with three sit ins, but Cole has talked about only having two games left. If this is true, It could go either way for me. I could have another chance to make points, but so could Shak. A first tonight would put me in the current Final table, but not ensure me. For tonight, assuming people are true to thier word, the table is Joe, me, Canada, Dean, and BD. Canada must die. He can't score at all tonight. Dean is a bigger problem. He can't score twice in a row. Joe is the same way as Canada. Tonight needs to get down to me and BigDaddy, and I need to win.

Heh, I talked to myself. I'll probably edit this post several times between now and tonight.
