If you like playing by yourself, Warrior.
If you like being in pasrties and always being asked to be in parties, Priest.
If you liked to be booted from parties and be forced to solo it, Rogue. :P

Heres the deal.
Warriors are good but they need a healer.
Druids, Hunters, and rogues I think are the easiest to level solo.
Mages and Priests are helper characters, you need a partner.
Warlocks tough to grind to 60.
Palys and shamans best classes in game. You can solo easily and be beneficial to a group. They are boring because they seem to easy.
I have 4 characters to 60, and currently retired and burnt out. My Tauren Warrior is great, but my dwarf paly and tauren Shaman are pretty unstoppable 1v1.

If you want to be the most powerful class against other players, be a Priest and go down the Shadow line... You won't ever lose...

Rogue is awesome, but Ive recently gotten bored of mine. You put out hella dps, and things die quickly. Theres alot of neat skills to learn. They're also a great PvP class.

Not true. I destroy shadow priest on my druid. All I really have to do it outmana them. Frenzied Regeneration/Enrage is a good combo I use... and I regain mana fast as hell in my shapeshift forms. Thought they do own any class that can't heal. Also, don't be a shadow priest if you want to get into end game. Shadow priest are what lose BG's and aren't wanted in end game. :D

They arn't too bad. Lv.10-Lv.20 is a heartbreak (mostly because your likely to be in Darkshore, if you choose to Night Elf) but once you get Cat forum it's all uphill.

Payton weighs too much! Your friend sucks at life. kthx. Just roll easy mode. (Paladin/Shaman) if you wanna have real fun. Shaman more because they own PVP and Paladins are booooring. Druids and Paladins have horrible dps, and end up healing in end game. If you want to have fun, play a Warlock. :P

You mean downhill...
After you get cat form, and you invest in Feral, there aren't many classes that are faster to level...
At 30, I have absolutely no downtime whatsoever fighting mobs at a higher level than me...

No, I mean uphill. Going downhill referrs to something getting worse and worse, going uphill referrs to it getting better and better.
Example:
"This company is starting to go downhill..." :(
"It's all uphill from here on!" :)

Its all downhill means its easy.
Its easier walking downhill than uphill.

Mages can level extremely fast if you know what your doing. Aoe farming is the same if not faster then leveling by doing quests.
I leveled a druid to 60 and it took me ages (this is before the druid patch). Atleast i could kill any elite's 2-3 levels higher then me.

But the expression "going downhill" has a negative meaning to it. Therefore, the expression "going uphill" has a positive meaning to it.

Whether it is or not to you is irrevelent, the fact is that "going down hill" is a negative comment.
Look at a plot graph (http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/6943/pl3tw.png), for instance. The plotted information, when connected by lines, makes "uphill" and "downhill" displayments. While it is going "uphill," it is getting more and more (better and better) until it reachers a climax, then it goes down and down (worse and worse) in a "downhill" fashion. Or, it could keep on going "uphill."
But, if you wish to think "going down hill" is a postive thing and "going up hill" a negative thing, all the power to you.

We're not talking about math... We're talking about a metaphor...
How is it a fact that 'going down hill' is a negative comment? Because you say so?
Just because something goes down, doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Would you be pissed off if your rent went down?

You are completely right. When something goes down it could be a good thing, <insert many examples>, as well as it could be a bad thing <insert many examples>.
We arn't talking about a direction, we're talking about a metaphor. "Going down" is out of context as it could refer to anyting, "going down hill" is much more specific.
This arguement is futile. Go and Google "going down hill." Look at some titles such as Is Miller just going down hill?, Education system going down hill, and Final Fantasy Games going down hill!. If you still stand by your opinion, that's fine. I stand mine.

And suppose one says "it's an up hill battle." That's obviously not a good thing...

Yes, in those situations, you'd be correct. But in your original statement, 'downhill' would be the correct term...

This site has gone downhill ever since Superion joined.
It's all downhill from here on.
It's an uphill battle.
There's two different defenitions of the terms, it's just what sounds right.

It all depends on the context in which the word is used...
@ DarkShogun666 like instances? Roll Priest or Warrior, enjoy ganking defenseless toons when they are almost OOH or OOM roll rogue.
PVP server, rogues are usually the most populated class and are immensely good at PvPing. Priests are almost in shortage in all server types, especially on my one. All 3 classes are fine in PvP unless the warrior is specced Protection or the Priest is specced Holy pre-1.10.
PvE server, warriors tank or dps if specced fury. Priests are always wanted in groups for instances and rogues i found, are quite boring unless your PvPing...
