Offical Las Vegas Odds for the GWPS III

[The Eye in the Sky!]

- The Gamewinners Poker Series has again begun preliminary practice rounds for the newest edition of the tournament. Gamewinners Poker Series III have some returning starts and a heap of new entrants looking to win the ultimate prize and dethrone Vi3torious from his pedestal above the poker world. Las Vegas has just released it's first odds that will be updated after every practice round or to other extenuating circumstances.

First Odds (2/12): This series' favorite to win the championship is none other than the defending champion. It won't be easy for Vi3torious to defend his title but his stellar play throughout the series history has earned him the top odds. The biggest surprise remains AlecTrevylan, who, after finishing strong in GWPS 2, gets a nod into the top 10 odds. We'll see if he is a one trick pony or the real deal. Other notables in the top are the dangerous GWPS veterans Coleman, who made a great comeback to make the final table last series and fell short there. BTS looks to follow his near-repeat championship series with a strong finish yet again. Alu, who came close to winning it all in the GWPS 2 is still as dangerous as ever. And everyone's favorite player, The Eye in the Sky!, looks to bounce back from the horrible luck last series to prove himself.

Yeah, kut, everyone else above you has either shown major improvement or were not ranked last series and got in ahead. I do feel that it may be a bit high seeing as you were a top contender last series. Another good finish in a practice game may sway me.

Vegas Updated!

After the second game, only a few changes were made. Both shortkut and AlecTrevylan moved up for stellar play in both games while a few right in front of them dropped just a bit to make room. Other than that, the odds are fairly close to what they should be. If we schedule another practice game, I may fine tune them a little. If not, those are almost the finalized odds for the GWPS III.

That just means more money for him if he wins. The odds look about right to me. I'm quite surprised I didn't drop after my terrible performance in both games. Then again, Cole's didn't either and he didn't do much better :tease:

It wasn't soley based on the practice games or where people finished in the last series. The factors I considered were:

- Past play
- Style
- Consistency
- Practice games
- Last series
- Knowledge of the game

Example: ME. I did terrible last series, has decent practice games, have a style set to win smaller tournaments, and have a good knowledge of the game. So many factors went into this.
