No SPAM: SPAM is posting just for the sake of raising your post count or posting something that is not relevant to the topic at hand. This includes one word replies (where not appropriate), a totally off-topic post or thread, bumping dead topics, and double posting.

so I had a laugh at the nature of the GameWinners Court, I was saying it was funny, there for I was laughing in relation to Folder name and idea of it. Everyone decided to say I was spamming, I am not posting a different topic, I don't care about post count and I truely believe that I had a relivent, but funny sided thread for a laugh to this forum.

But no! Everyone decided I was spamming, clearly all you people haven't followed the rules to my level of understanding. Your 'no SPAM' isn't in the dictionary, but you have made it clear in your own rules!. I felt i had been injust and feel if this was a decent court it could use a few more rules to govern it. Maybe you could make it central area for all problems with the forum in the way of policing.

Clearly you need to police this area in a more friendly manner. There is no need to be harsh all the time. I haven't heard one person give a fun, funny responce and I would like to see something funny. It would be nice to see.

So I might of overstepped the line, maybe I did, but I haven't been truely negative. I am assuming this is suppost to be an open forum with guidelines. I just hope the community can work on building something that isn't so negative.

anyway, I feel I am blabbering on... :/

Look. You can have this opinion, no one is censuring your right to free speech, so don't overreact. This is the wrong forum to do it in, and since the Gamewinners court has existed fine for a while, what you think is not going to change it. Go to Peering into the Mind of an Idiot for worthless posts. And don't feel so hurt when things might not go your way.

Anyways, get off whining about the spam rules. They're in place, and there isn't going to be a revolution to change them. Plus, making a useless thread is along the same principle of making a useless post when its not in the right.

Stop with this 'your definition of SPAM is not in the dictionary' rubbish. It's a well known internet term that you will find on most internet forums. Which is highly relevant because, funnily enough, we are on the internet.

Other than that you need to understand something. This court is not meant to be a fully functional legal body effectively governing the entire site. It is here to deal with situations that may slip under the other rule enforcing mechanisms that we have. As such it is governed by the rules of this site, just like every other forum. There is no problem with the rules of this site in general- it is just that you don't seem to understand them. There is a major difference between the two things.

Finally, you should also note that the only person capable of 'policing' this forum is me because I moderate it, and also the admins when they drop by now and again. The other members just make comments in all the threads in this forum, which they are encouraged to do. I agree that they were overly harsh on you- but that is hardly something I can punish them for.

Put it this way. Would you walk into a real life court and comment to the judge, jury, and whoever else that you found the case very entertaining? It's not the same thing, but uses the same principles.

Making a thread about how funny other threads are is totally off-topic. I also don't see how we are infringing on your "freedom of speech" you claim to have here (which you don't). You made a thread that conflicted the rules, and we had a problem with it, so we voiced our displeasure within the thread.

Post counts are off in PIMI, I think.
I think he was using that as an example where you can post more or less anything and get away with it. And by 'get away with it' I mean 'get torn apart by the regulars in a way that makes the court look like a sanctuary'.

If by court you mean Thunderdome, then yes, correct.

Well, he was complaining about the court. But your version works too.

I was waiting for Govvy to respond in case he had any more input, but I know he's been on a couple of times since I replied to his first post. Hence his chance has passed, and closed this is.
