Sabin Demodded?

Why was Sabin demodded? He was a great mod, and from what I have heard, he shouldn't have been demodded.. A troll warning, which I don't think that was a troll? <Can't find the post, because it must've gotten split off...> Why was he demodded??? He didn't break rules, and was a great mod, as I said before. Is there a legit reason why?!

For those who don't understand, Sabin came into PIMI without really knowing how things go in there, and subsequently earned himself the hatred of every single member and mod in that forum.

Alright.. I read all of this.. I was in a deep discussion with Sabin yesterday.. IMO, I don't think he knows what he did.. Anyways, all he told me is that he had no legit reason to be demodded.

There are no legitimate and unlegitimate reasons to be demodded. He doesn't have some sort of divine right to be a moderator, although he seems to think he's pretty devine since he got modded. If people don't like him, and I assure you a lot don't, then an administrator is perfectly entitled to get rid of him. In fact, they're entitled to demod him if he's universally adored.

Legit reason or not, mods do not earn the right to be a moderator. It's a priveledge. The Admins and S-Mods decided they didn't want him as a moderator anymore. They have thier reasons.

Ford Mustang there is something you need to understand. Being a moderator is not just about moderating your forum. It is about being able to work as part of the moderating team. The standards to which you are required to act go far beyond those of member, and include standards on actions that you will neither recognise nor appreciate. Moderators who do not reach those standards are noticed by administrators and warned, and if they persist then further action is taken. Sabin knows what he did, and if he truely doesn't know what he did then that is one more reason why he should have been demodded.

I don't know what he did, and frankly don't want to.. it just seems a little unfair that he just up and gets banned, then unbanned, then demodded. Please close this thread.
