He wears nothing over his scarred body except the strap for the sheath of his weapon. On his right arm is a black tribal tattoo.
Weapons: Makurayami
Weapon Description: Makurayami is a Masamune-shaped blade that can easily cut through even the toughest armour like bamboo. Damien found the Makurayami somewhere on the Thunder Plains. The blade itself is crafted from an unknown metal that is stronger than any other, and is inscribed with runes and decretive patterns. However, the Makurayami is almost always surrounded by a mysterious black glow, and none have ever survived being struck with it.

Damien learnt many skills, such as the ability to handle any weapon with expert skill, as well as how to use magic. Once Damien had turned 21, he had learnt all of the skills and knowledge that the Elder Monks could teach him, he headed off into the Wilderness to spread the message of Yevon. However, while crossing the Thunder Plains, Damien was struck by lightning. Nearing death, Damien managed to crawl to the nearest Lightning Pylon, and slowly sat up. In front of him was this mysterious sword, which had the word “Makurayami” inscribed in the helm of the sword. As the dying Damien grabbed the handle, he felt a strange warmth creeping into his body, and he made a full recovery. Finding out the Yevon is a lie, Damien turned his back on the teachings and walked off into the wilderness once more, offering his services to anyone who asked for help.

It will melt through anything it can't slice through. Small fires and sparks fly everywhere when this sword is swung.

When he was in his mid twenties, he was sealed in an underground cave by Yevon because he possessed such magical strength that he could suddenly cause the air around him to burst into fire, instantly killing anyone around. (He eradicated his hometown like this). He was also against most of their teachings... He had been sealed in the cave deep under the ground for over 400 years when Shinra discovered him during the building of a Mako reaktor. Down in the cave he had been greatly exposed to mako. This had kept him alive and made him stronger than before with new, more powerful powers. He had also lost his memory. Shinra recruited him and taught him how to use his new powers.
Description: For most of the time, Hishimo looks like a tall man with a black cape he uses to cover his body with. A hood covers his face. His face looks rather normal, except his eyes. They don't even have a slightest hint of white in them. Just black. Pitch black. When he gets angry, or he just feels like it, his body is totally changed. Spira, it was a world full of pain and suffering, wars and assassinations, but also a marvelous place, filled with natural, and unnatural wonders. Spira had two main forces, which were 'Avalanche' and 'Shinra'. These two groups had been fighting for many years but neither side had won. All there was in this war was death and violence, and either side was too stubborn to agree to a treaty, or cession of hostilities.

There would be no victor of this war until every last man of the enemy army was dead. For years, Shinra had been pumping the 'Mako energy' or life energy, out of the planet, and literally sucking it dry, exasperating it, the planet cannot function without this energy, and Shinra believed the economy could not either. Avalanche had wanted to stop this process, and save the planet, in the beginning, but now it seems that they have an ulterior motive.

At the top of a tall cliff, stood a man. He wore baggy clothes and had gray hair, with a Katana strapped to his side, the wind blew through his hair, and he only stood watching the world around him, it was peaceful and appeared content except for the large Mako reactor that stood out like a sore thumb. The building towered over the rest of the land and had a gave off a dark foreboding. The bottom part was a round reactor part and over that was a tower.

The tower was black and had the red Shinra crest on the front. Suddenly, the tower part exploded, birds and any animals nearby fled. The entire tower was demolished, sending flaming debris flying for at least 30 meters, while emitting a faint green glow. When the smoke cleared there was a large hole in the reactor part shooting out small amounts of Mako energy, the remains of the tower were scattered along the surrounding lands. Mercenaries in SeeD uniforms ran out of the front entrance of the reactor with Shinra soldiers chasing them.

The Shinra soldiers had large blades, and the SeeD mercenaries with various weapons including gunblades, nunchucks, bare fists, guns, and regular swords. The SeeD made quick work of the soldiers. The mercenaries fled, in a Shinra vehicle and once they were far enough away another blast occurred, this time much larger then the previous, and this time in the reactor part.

A huge amount of flaming debris flew at the warrior at the top of the cliff, along with anything else in about a 3/4 mile radius. His already blue eyes glowed and in the next instant he was gone before the debris had even hit him. When the dust cleared all that was left was even more debris, some flaming. Many bodies also littered the ground, but even more disembodied limbs, and other body parts. around 5 dozen intact bodies litered the ground.

The warrior reappeared in a gigantic forest, with crystalized sediment on the trees, which twisted and turned, and seemed to be connected, forming a pathway. The man unsheathed his katana and held position in a battle stance. Suddenly, 6 Al Bhed soldiers jumped out at him with guns and only a few swords. They were wearing untraditional clothes, that seemed light, best suited for a high temperature area. The ones with swords charged at him and the ones with guns shot at him. He deflected a bullet with his katana then moved to strike a sword weilding Al Bhed and choped him clean in half. Then at almost lightning speed he sliced 4 others inflicting fatal wounds. The last soldier fled before he could kill him. The grey haired mans eyes glowed again and he dissapeaed, reappearing on the tree path in front of the Al Bhed. He pinned the Al Bhed against the tree while disarming him. He said "Go. Warn your other people. Tell them 'Sephiroth' is coming for them." His eyes glowed and he was gone, yet again. The soldier softly inhaled, looked around, then continued running

Ryoku Heiryoku was approaching the mako reactor, its immense size was almost intimidating. The call of last minute orders shook some younger mercenaries, but this was all Ryoku knew. Akira was hired by SeeD, even though they were the ones who caused him to be in this line off work, but it is all the same to him now. It is always the same. Reach your destination, kill a few guys just doing their job, and leave, for this was his job. A small group of men quietly scaled the tower, entered through a heat conduit, and placed the explosives. They quickly made their way to the main reactor, killed the men there, and placed the main explosives. The shear size and weight of it took two men to hoist it into position.

The tower blew early, it took all the soldiers by surprised, and the alarm was raised, even the mercenaries were not prepared for the early blast, it screwed up their plans of a silent escape, and half of the mercenaries panicked, not Ryoku. He calmly did what he did best, kill. He did it effectively, more than most people you hear about in stories, for that was what he got paid for. He swung the Immense axe effortlessly through the first two men, then towards another group. He saw one mercenary get stabbed right through the heart, it did not affect Ryoku; he just kept swinging expertly, never letting the axe stop its motion, and never leaving him ungarded. He was a killer. Once the small batle stopped, the mercenaries climbed back into the Shinra vehicle they used to get clearance to approach, and sped of before the main charge blew early, too, leaving the entire Shinra soldiers and engineers behind, and only leaving three unexperienced mercenaries behind.

When the charge blew, it sent the back wheels off the ground and sent everyone's ears ringing. But Ryoku did not care, he just wanted to get paid, and the chance to kill again.

Chronos was walking through his town of Hiroshima, admiring the
scenery, when all of a sudden he heard a rumbling sound coming
from the forest nearby.
"It cant be thunder, he thought,"
It sounded like someone was using magic in those woods.
"I wonder what that was." he thought. "I think I'd better go
investigate. He picked up his sword and was getting ready to go
into the woods, when his so-called mom called him. She was
young looking, and had a red hair that reflected her firery
personality. She was a little bit taller than Chronos, but a
whole lot kinder.
"dangit not now," he thought. He went to see what she wanted.
"Did you here that?" she said.
"yes, im getting ready to go see, i cant let anything happen to
you mom."
"Your always so worried about me, you should worry about
yourself sometimes," "I remember when you were little, you were
just a little boy, with his silver hair, and strange black
clothes, you still look the same."
"Ill be ok mother" he picked his sword back up and started to
run towards the woods, it had been awhile since he had fought.
"bring it on" he said as he entered the forest.

VolantKnave

Hishimo was wandering through the forest. I was early evening
and a cool breeze was blowing, making his black cloak wave in
the weak wind. He was not an an espescially good mood.. He had
been sent out to make sure the road was safe for a group of
Shinra soldiers that soon would be headed this way. A Mako
source was detected beneath the nearby village, and Shinra was
about to practice the kill first, ask later method. Since the
people living here was rather hostile it would be easier to do
it swiftly, without asking them to move first.
As he walked down the narrow road he thought about his
assignment here.
"Ahhh... Why do they never give me any challenging tasks? Don't
they trust me?? Nothing could even scratch those new recruits
Shinra sends here.. The recruits and me." He arrived at the
clearing where he was supposed to wait for the men and leaned
towards a big rock there.
An hour later he was starting to get really bored. Just for
fun, he torched some nearby trees with a massive fire just to
extinguish it with some ice crystals. The fire blast had been
so hot that there was a huge crack in the ground.
Just as he was starting to wonder wether or not to just abandon
this whole assignment he heard something moving not far from
him. He was immediatedly alert. He stood up and looked
cautiously around. His cloak had now slid to the side revealing
his quite unusual body and his long swords now in his hands. He
saw something between the trees on the other side of the
clearing and sent an ice bolt that way, but he obviously missed
as he found nothing when he checked the spot. Then, a loud
crack behing him! He jumped around prepared for anything.

Scott

*Damien sighed deeply as he slowly trundled along the dusty
mountainpath. Each step with his heavy boots kicked up more
dust, obscuring Damien's already limited vision. The mercenary
raised a gloved hand, waving it infront of his face. Out of
habit, he pushed his messy hair away from his icy blue eyes.
Damien paused, and sighed again. Looking down the mountain, he
saw the once-great Zanarkand, now reduced to ruins. Damien
shook his head sadly, the words of his relatives echoing in his
ear, echoing the stories of the great Zanarkand and how it met
it's demise to Sin. Damien, like so many others, was journeying
the hazardous Gagazet in order to pay his respects to the dead.
Again, Damien sighed, before deciding to camp here for the
night. As Damien slumped against the rock, pulling a ragged
blanket over him, he stared over the ruins into the crimson
sunset, the light dancing across the still water. He closed his
eyes, wanting to fall asleep quickly, but something was
bothering his tired mind. Was Zanarkand all that is was cracked
up to be? Bevelle had been the same... the stories described it
as an almighty city, siting in the center of Spira... but when
Damien arrived, all those many years ago, it didn't seem to be
so great... corruption was everywhere, just looking into the
Machina-powered Temple told him that.
Damien shooks his head, trying to clear his head of these
thoughts. However, just as Damien started to drift off, the
sound of voices drifted around the corner, and Damien's eye
snapped open, his hand instinctivly grabbing the handle of
Makurayami... the enchanted blade he had found after that
fateful night on the Thunder Plains. In a flash, he stood up,
pressing himself against the rock. Slowly, Damien edged along
the wall, listening carefully for a clue of who... or what...
was speaking.*
"Do you think we should report back?"
"Report what? That we couldn't find him?"
"... I suppose..."
*One voice, timid and frightened, the other, deep and forceful.
Damien chuckled to himself silently, before deciding to have
some fun. It wasn't everyday you came across a Shinra officer.
Damien stepped out from behind the rock, turning the corner. He
smirked slightly, quickly tying his hair into his black
bandana, then spoke.*
"Looking for me?"

~Sephiroth~

Sephiroth walked through the sand of the Al Bhed homeland, a
desert region where their primary Machina city was located. It
was said to be an amazing wonder of banned machina to those who
knew of its existance. There were supposed to be 10 large
towers, circularly surrounding the far larger main tower, which
housed all the citizens. On the tower were 6 large turbines,
which cooled the entire city which was a necesity due to its
location. On the outer rim, directly below the turbines, 1
pipes ran down per turbine. These massive pipes rupplied water
to the entire city, it was unknown how the Al Bhed recieved the
water, but they did.
This main tower was connected to the outer towers by one
maintanance bridge, and one large power wire per tower. These
towers supplied most of the power to the main structure. In the
main tower there were 7 major support beams, 6 located along
the outer part and one located in the center, if one of them
were taken out the surrounding ones would crumble as well, due
to the weight of the massive structure. But if any of the outer
ones were taken out a majority of the building would still
stand, due to the main beam.
If Sephiroth took the center beam out, the entire city would be
reduced to rubble. But this would be an intermediate level
task, due to their massive military comprised of humans and
Machina warriors. Rather then fight them, he could bypass them
with his transportation ability and only fight the most
powerful, surrounding the main beam. His plan was basically
flawless, he would take out everyone in the city by burying
them with the city itself. Sephiroth unsheathed his sword and
prepared to attack. His eyes them glowed slightly, then even
more brightly. He dissapeared and reappeared behind one of the
guard Machina and sliced the contraption in half, his eyes
still glowing slightly. The upper half fell to the ground with
a loud crash when people realized they were under attack,
More machina and very few human guards charged. Sephiroth spun
once, slicing two machina, he them jumped and brought his sword
down through a humans head. He then sliced another machina in
half vertically. People fled in terror and the guards were
finished. The interior was amazing, and simply indescribable.
Too bad he had to destroy this place. He turned and faced the
main beam. It was extremley large, with steel plating, and a
stairway leading to the top. Sephiroth shoved his sword
directly into the beam. The plating was no match for it.
Just as the sword entered, almost completley the still visible
part glowed and intense red, and the visible symbol, glowed
black. Suddenly, a wave of darkness sliced through the beam
from the base, where his sword was entered, more followed,
slicing it thoroughly. When the waves stoped Sephiroth pulled
out his sword. The beam creaked, and started to collapse from
where the dark attack struck.
Sephiroths eyes glowed again and he dissapeared. The beam,
shifted quickly, then started collapsing on itself. The roof
started coming down with the beam, soon, the entire building
had collapsed taking all inside with it. Sephiroth reappeared
on a tall cliff like rock structure in time to see the city
fall. A wave of dust and some debris flew across the desert for
a 1 mile radius. All that remained were the outer towers now,
which there was no point in destroying. Sephiroth said softly
"That makes 13." and then dissapeared again.

Seifer1119

Ryoku was wondering outside his small camp, looking for an easy
meal. Slowly and silently trying not to disturb any of the
beautiful stillness of his surroundings. He was following a
small fowl, moving when it moved, stopped when it stopped.
Then, as quick as a flash, he leapt high with his immense axe
towards the bird, and accurately sliced its head clean off. He
humored himself as its dead body flopped around.
He walked back towards his camp as he pricked some feathers
off. He sat down next to a fire, cooked it and had his fill.
Soon, he realized his wariness, and slept under a low make-
shift tent.
It was almost 7:oo, when something disturbed his peaceful rest.
He knew not what it was, but his eyes snapped open and his hand
instinctively went towards his axe handle to his left. He
stayed still 'till the leaves stopped crackling and a long
shadow fell short of his feat. this would not be the first time
someone had been sent to kill him, but they where all to young,
inexperienced, and stupid. Just like this one. He was so damned
loud, even the birds took flight over the tree line. He slowly
raised the axe, then stood-up holding the axe over his head
ready to strike.
"Whoa, whoah! He...hey! Hold on. I'm just a messenger. I've got
a job a job to give you."
Ryoku slammed his axe an inch and a half next to his foot,
sticking it in the ground. Ryoku had a high rep to where he did
not have to search for jobs, they came to him.
"Fine. What’s that smell?" He looked down to see a small puddle
of urine on the ground. "Never mind, take me to him. He
followed the man to his master where he presented Ryoku with a
job. Apparently an Al Bhed officer had pissed him off. He had
never seen or heard of the man offering the job, but as soon as
he sensed my uneasiness, the bag of gold made my worry go away.
He said he was only sending me, because he needed someone who
"could get the job done." I wondered if I was heading into an
ambush, because mercenaries never went alone. But he was
confident he could deal with it.
He made his way for the great city, with orders to kill some
scum bag of an officer. After entering the city through a water
pipe, he looked for a pressure valve he could squeeze through.
Upon going through one, he was amazed to see a dark, grimy
tunnel, turn into the beautiful bright, colorful city. He went
through a deserted street looking for a way to get into the
officer’s quarters. He realized he needed not to, when he saw
some cocky Al Bhed bragging his name to some young girl in
front of a pub of some sort. He unsheathed his axe, walked up a
few feet behind him, and said “Hey!” that was the last sound he
heard before the axe ripped his face off his body, with the
armor he was wearing only added to the effect when it shattered
in pieces. An alarm sounded and immediately a squad of 30 men
came rushing up and surrounded Ryoku. The only emotion that
showed on his face was a small smirk. He heaved the axe around
and turned in large circles, those circles became increasingly
smaller as he chopped through man after man. Eventually his
eyes misted over and a short extension of fire shot out killing
yet more men.
Satisfied with the pile of men’s lower and upper bodies laid
about apart from their owners, he started a run out of the
city. Suddenly the city started to shake, more and more
violently, until actual pieces of the city started to fall off.
He ran to the edge of the city, jumped on the water pipe he
came in on, and slid down on its now angled top just in time
before the city lay in ruins. He saw a man in the far distance
running with a sword over his back, clearly not Al Bhed. He
said under his breath, “hm, looks like I’ve got another man to
kill,” before he laid down from exhaustion and surprise as an
entire great city lay in ruins behind him.

Lord_slyther

It was close, too close for comfort. he had heard the magic,
and was lucky he had his sword with him. Just as he heard the
magic, his sword glowed, and he activated the chronos magna.
Time stopped just in time for him to move out of the way. "That
was close," he thought. He ran around the shot and then the
time stop wore off. "i wonder who shot that magic," he thought
to himself. The forest wasnt too bright, seeing as it was not
quite noon yet, and it made it harder to see. He knew someone
was still here, waiting in machalania forest for him. He
glanced towards where he just was, when he thought he saw a man
in a strange uniform he hadnt seen before. he readied himself,
not knowing whether he was good or bad, and what he wanted with
him.

VolantKnave

Hishimo was sure there had been someone there, right at the
spot where the ice bolt had hit. The ground there was frozen
solid. "Strange..." he thought. He had never missed before...
He was constantly on alert. Then he heard it again. Another
loud crack, like a tree branch was broken, On the other side of
the clearing. How could anyone get there so fast? This was what
he had waited for. Finally some fun...
He turned around, standing with his back to where he had heard
the last sound. He stood like that for a few moments when he
suddenly burst into flames. The fire was gone faster than it
had came, but now he had turned around, he was facing the place
the sound had come from. He lunged towards the shadow in the
edge of the surrounding forest. All of this happened in a split
second. Both of his swords easily sliced through the thick
layer of trees and bushes. He was sure he had hit it. He had
seen it. He had hit it. A boy with a glowing sword in his hand.
He had seen one of the swords hit him. He must have hit him.
The swords were going too fast to deflect. Still, he found
nothing but a schorched tree stump. His swords had gone
straight through a 10 feet thick tree, nothing else...
He was getting angry now... Nothing could've got away from
that. he didn't care for fun anymore.. This was serious. His
swords disappeared and he concentrated for a moment before he
started to float. He rose quickly. About 30 feet above the
ground he could see the whole forest. The village was only half
a mile away. He admired the view for a second before the
suddenly looked down. His cloak was now waving wildly through
the air, leaving his body totally exposed. His swords
reappeared in his hands, glowing brightly. His entire body
started glowing. He crossed his swords above his head and
launched an enormous beam of fire and ice from his body, down
towards the ground. The noise was unbearable as the inferno hit
the ground, incinerating every single tree in a 70 feet radius
and leaving the ground covered in a thick layer of ice. "That
should do the trick..." he said to himself as he landed.
The clearing was now massively expanded. Black tree stumps was
sticking up from the ice everywhere. He wondered if that boy
had got away from this, when he saw something that made him
forget him really quick... Something that looked like a bunch
of people was buried under the ice. Their bodies were mostly
destroyed from the intense fire, but Hishimo could still
recognize the Shinra uniforms... He had eradicated his own
soldiers... Not that he cared much.. He could easily take out
that village all by himself, but he needed Shinra, at least for
a while. They had not given him his full potential yet. They
wanted to see if he was to be trusted before they "unlocked"
his final powers and had promised to give them to him when he
successfully returned from here. He had to do everything
himself and tell Shinra that every soldier had died in
battle... He headed towards the village.
He was standing on a grassy hilltop near the village. It was
quite large, considering it was just a kind of hidden village
in the forest. About a hundred small, thatched houses
surrounding a larger, rather colorful building in the centre.
Several statues were placed around it. "That must be a
temple..." Hishimo thought to himself. Two roads was going into
the city. One in the opposite end from where he was standing
and one to his right. The village was quiet, even if it was
noon. "They must have heard me and hid..." he thought. "Poor
cowards... They don't know what's going to hit them..." He
started to walk slowly down the hill, towards the village,
unable to shake off a bad feeling about that boy in the
forest...

Ryoku has been in the wandering mercenary business for the
better part of 20 years. Always wandering, only taking jobs
when they were offered. But today would be different.
Ryoku have been hiking to a for away forest, he had heard
stories of old, about the magnificent beauty of it, and that it
was almost enchanted with life. He knew he was growing older
each day, and in these times, one did not grow to much older.
So he has recently left to perhaps see one more sight before
his passing. He could tell he was close to the forest because
the air smelled different. It was strange, it smelt dry, an
almost stale smell. As he was running up a steep hill, he knew
it was just over the hill. He had envisioned a triumphant sight
when he came to a stop at the top of the hill, and could see
the entire forest in all its glory. But he was instead to find
something much to his surprise, something else.
The massive forest was dark and withering away. All life seemed
to have been sucked dry. The smell then became clear to Ryoku;
it was the smell of death, the smell of when all hope seemed to
be lost. Something else had caught his eye. It was the ever so
familiar Mako Reactor, an identical to the one that was
destroyed by him no more than a month ago. He had never fully
known what mako really was, and why these reactors were bad.
But now, it was painfully clear. These reactors literally
sucked the life from the world right out of the ground. As he
inspected the black trees, that fell apart if you held it, he
had done something he had not done in almost 4o years, cry.
It is one thing when humans are killed; they have a chance to
fight back or run away. But this forest had no chance. And it
was Shinra’s fault. They built the reactor! They killed the
forest! They where going to pay! And Ryoku was going to do it!
Help or not. It did not matter if this Avalanche would
cooperate with him. But someway or another…
“Shinra Will Pay!"
And Ryoku turned, ran away to get his revenge on those who had
turned this magnificent place into a graveyard. Just like how
Ryoku would turn Shinra into a graveyard.

Lord_slyther

It was close, way too close. This wasnt an ordinary fight, he
was strong, very strong. The entire forest was incinerated.
Chronos had nowhere left to hide. he somehow managed to escape,
but it was close. Thats when he saw them, soldiers, dead
soldiers. "So there was more than just me in the forest, and i
doubt any of them had the power to destroy the forest." He
searched around, but he didnt find anyone else. "I wonder where
that other guy went?" "At least the village is safe now
though." Thats when he saw his mother running towards him. "Mom
stay back! I'm not sure its safe yet!" She didn't care, she ran
up to him and embraced him. "I'm so glad your safe, and you
dont look like the forest there. What happened?" "I'm not so
sure, but someone was there, but he seems to be gone now. I
don't know what he wanted either." "I'm just glad your safe,
come home now and eat."
He thought it was over, that he had left. As soon as the attack
went off, he warped to his village. "God I love this sword," he
thought. After the blast had cleared, there was no sign of
whoever was there. He turned his back and started to head back,
and thats when it hit. Chronos was struck full in the back with
an ice bolt spell. It hurt him, and there was no doubt about
it. He didnt have time to react, no chance of preparing.
He mananged to turn around after it hit in time to see this
strange guy. He looked kindof like a soldier, but a higher
ranking one. "Who are you and what do you want? I can tell your
not my friend." "That was pretty low to attack a man behind his
back." "I do what i can to hit the target," said the mysterious
stranger.
"But why do you want to attack me?"
"Its not neccesarily you I'm after, its more like the village."
"Why my village?"
"I dont have to explain the reasons to you."
"I see you dont like to talk, so i guess you like action a bit
more." Chronos tilted his sword towards the sunlight, casting a
blinding glare into the mans eyes. The man was startled, and
put his hands to his eyes to start rubbing them. At the same
time, Chronos rushed forward to strike at him, thankful that he
remembered to polish his sword today.

VolantKnave

Hishimo had been caught off guard. Just as he had recovered
from the blinding light, the only thing he could do to protect
himself was to create a small ice shield. It shattered like
glass when the sword struck, but did what it was supposed to;
Hishimo was not harmed. He jumped backwards a few metres and calmed down. Now it was
his turn to attack. With his swords now in his hands, he lunged
towards Chronos. He deflected the attack and mixture of sparks,
fire and ice crystals flew everywhere when the swords clashed
together. Hishimo knew he had hit Chronos with that ice bolt,
and that he was slightly injured. He had an advantage.
It was an epic battle on the now desolate glade in the forest.
Hishimo and Chronos were furiously fighting in the centre.
Their skills were just about equal and the battle could have
gone on forever...
Hishimo was tired, and impressed. No one had ever lasted this
long in a fight with him before. He was about to swing his
swords towards Chronos again, when Chronos suddenly disappeared
and Hishimo felt a stinging pain is his side. "How???" Hishimo
thought. "What happened? How could he have done that?" He
checked the wound in his side. It was not a deep cut, just a
scratch, but for the first time in years he felt pain... He
heard something behind him and turned around just in time to
see Chronos run out of the clearing, towards the village.
Hishimo thought of following him and eradicate the entire
village, but he was beaten. Chronos had been a worthy opponent,
and he had won in a rather fair fight. Hishimo had never
thought like this before.. Normally he would have done
everything he could to revenge himself, but now he didn't want
to.. That would come another day.
Hishimo was walking slowly out of the forest. Not a single bird
was singing. Not a sound broke the silence. He was planning
what to do next. He didn't want to work for Shinra anymore. He
had had enough. He was going to tell them that the village was
destroyed, but every single soldier had died in the fight
against the villagers. The innocent villagers. "What am I
thinking??" Hishimo thought. "Am I becoming soft??? Hmm...
Guess I am..." He was going to Shinra one last time as their
ally, just to get his final powers. Next time he saw them, he
wanted to be fighting them...

1 year past since she lived on the mountains feeling fed up she
decided to join seed. She needed the money and even she had to
admit it was pretty lonely up there alone. So she ventured out
to the city. The people there were interesting enough and she
felt very out of place. She wasn't use to being around so many
people for she had lived most of her life away from the city.
She had decided to join seed instead of Shinra because she
hated Shinra and thought they were the reason for the bandits
attacking her town. They were the only suspects because they
would be the only ones who would want the huge mako reactor
that laid on the outskirts of the town. She really could care
less about Shinra sucking up the earths energy.
All she wanted was to get revenge upon Shinra and make some
cash in the process. She continue to walk though the slums of
the city. After about 30 more minutes of walking she finally
reached the building. It was a small rundown shack, but she
supposed it would serve its purpose. She walked up to the shack
and knocked on the door. A giant man with a gunned arm and a
katana on his life belt opened the door.
What do you want little lady?
I'm here to ask about the requirements to join seed.
Well first what is your name?
Its ryokugyoku Megami and what about you sir?
Its Bardicks and in order to join seed we have to see how loyal
you are to seed and what you are willing to do. I want you to
attack a Mako reactor don't worry you well have troops with you
who are also trying to prove themselves. don't come back till
you have blown it to tiny peaces okay!?
Right I got ya....just point me to the bombs we need and my
group I’m suppose to meet with and I’m good.
I'll go get the stuff just stay right here.
Ryokugyoku stood out on the porch waiting for Bardicks to come
back. After waiting 15 min he came out with 2 bombs in his
hands and a huge group of men and women. Taking charge she took
the 2 bombs from Bardicks and gave them to one of the men
behind Bardicks. Another man came out his name was Ryoku. " Who
the hell is that?" asked Ryokugyoku.
This is the guy we hired hes real good!
Well whatever.
She then with a motion of her hand told them to follow her as
they jumped the shinra vehicle that Barcicks had stole and they
all headed of to the reactor.
2 days later they finally reached it. ryokugyoku told them all
to get ready, they took out there weapons which included guns,
swords, and nun chucks and preceded to advance towards the
tower once they were close enough they hopped out the Shinra
Vehicle. The security was rather poor so they were able to
sneak in with not much trouble . ryokugyoku had took one group
one way and a man name Ryoku had taken the other half of the
group another way. After awhile she got to her destination and
she planted the bomb on the top western wall. She put 10 min on
it and they all ran like hell out the reactor she radioed Ryoku
and he told her he had also planted the bomb on the main
reactor. As they ran out The alarm went of guards blocked there
path and a battle broke out. Guns shots and the clashing of
swords were the only thing heard aside from the groans of
people falling to the ground wounded. The first bomb exploded
with a huge boom and every one was forced to hit the ground.
The shinra who were terribly out numbered decided to bail but
before they could get to there vehicle Ryoku and his group beat
them to it. The rest of the seed group started to run to the
shinra vehicle they had took with them leaving behind the
guards.
They didn't far before another bang rocked the earth as the 2nd
bomb went of. lifting both her tires and Ryoku's looking back
she smiled slightly as she saw the bleeding corpses of Shinra
men on the ground. There were almost 5 dozens bodies on the
ground each one of there faces were illuminated due to the
light of the flames emitting from the reactor. The thing was
completely destroyed. Turning around she hit the gas heading
back to there base with ryoku and his men right behind her.

*Damien savoured the terrified looks on the two ShinRa
soldiers, who looked at him like he was some kind of monster.
Damien chuckled slightly to himself, before asking the soldiers
again.*
“I said, are you looking for me?”
*The younger soldier started backing away, scared out of his
wits. If it wasn’t for the Officer grabbing him, Damien would
of bet all his Gil that the soldier was about to run away.
However, the Officer seemed to have regained his speech
abilities again, as he stepped forward, and pulled out a sheet
of parchment.*
“Are you Damien, the mercenary?”
“Aye… and what do you want from me?”
“We have orders from the ShinRa President to arrest you.”
“Well, isn’t that nice.”
“Are you going to come quietly?”
“Of course not.”
“Then, I’m afraid I have no choice.”
*If Damien hadn’t seen the glint in the Officer’s eyes as he
finished speaking, his attack might have hit home. However, as
the Officer drew his pistol, Damien leapt forward, and in one
swift movement, unsheathed Makurayami and sliced the hand
holding it straight off. As the crimson blood started to spurt
from the wound, Damien calmly sheathed his blade again, then
spoke over the Officer’s screams, with a note of amusement in
his voice.*
“Aww, you wimp. It’s only a flesh wound… I’m sure it’ll grow
back.”
“My… my hand! Grrr… you! McNerra! Get him!”
“M… me sir?”
“YES!”
The young soldier hesitated briefly, clearly hoping that his
limbs would remain attached to his body. Maybe it was this that
made Damien go softer on the soldier. As he rushed Damien, the
mercenary simply sidesteps the punch, and quickly counters with
a spinning heel kick, catching the soldier in the back of the
head, knocking him unconscious instantly. Again, Damien turned
back to face the Officer, who stood there, dumbstruck.
Eventually, after what seemed an age, the Officer spoke, fear
tainting his deep voice.*
“Are you going to kill me?”
*Damien stood motionless for a few seconds, frowning slightly,
contemplating his answer. Suddenly, Damien looked up, grinning,
before walking over to the unconscious soldier, and pulling him
onto his shoulders. Damien slowly walked back to the Officer,
before dumping the soldier at his feet.*
“Not today… however, if you do come across me again, I will
kill you. Got it?”
*The Officer didn’t reply, but merely nodded, before scooping
up the soldier and running back down into the cave system.
Damien chuckled slightly, looking around. Why were the ShinRa
after him? As far as he knew, he hadn’t done anything wrong,
unless journeying to Zanarkand had become illegal. Damien shook
his head, and started to trudge back to his bag and travelling
cloak, when a voice floated out of the darkness.*
“That was very noble of you. I would have killed them.”
*Damien almost instantly unsheathed Makurayami, looking around
for the source of the voice. Almost by instinct, Damien looked
up, and spotted someone… or something… silhouetted against the
darkening sky.*
“Who are you?”

Ryoku was in a blind rage. He had ran many, many miles back
from the forest without any thought of what he was going to do.
His vision seemed almost narrowed as he ran, only seeing his
goal. All that was on his mind was the pain he was going to
inflict on every single Shinra soldier, how he would single-
handedly rip apart every man’s life from their body.
But once he nearly passed out from exhaustion, and laid in a
fervently breathing hump, he had time to think, to empty
himself of anger. It was then he realized this plan pointless.
He needed help, whether he liked the idea of it or not, he
needed it, or he would die in a futile siege. He knew what he
had to do.
Ryoku, now traveling at a much easier pace, was now planning on
going to any city he came across, and searching for any worthy
companion. He now came across Gagezet Mountain. He never liked
the Ronso people, but admired their strength and skill with a
weapon. Fighting a thick over growth on a trail, he heard
“Looking for me?”
Ryoku snapped around with his already drawn axe and saw no one.
“I said, are you looking for me?”
Ryoku looked down to see two Shinra soldiers. Immediately
sizing them up, he saw one weak and timid, serving no threat,
and the other one strong and aggressive, also serving no
threat. But the other man was different. He was not surprised
to see a severed hand fly up, but was surprised to see him show
mercy.
I said, “That was very noble of you. I would have killed them.”
“Who are you?”
“Don’t worry, I’m a friend. I am planning to take on Shinra.
You are good with a sword, and I need help.”
“Take on Shinra? And at their door step, no less…Okay, but we
are going to need more help. And I know where to get it…”

Lord_slyther

It was epic, they were evenly matched. The clanging of the
swords could have been heard a mile away at least. Chronos was
wearing out pretty quick. It had been so long since he fought,
he thought he was getting a little out of shape. He decided to
use the chronos magna again. He ran up to him and was going to
strike him out of rage, but he stopped to think. "If i did
that, i would be evil." So he decided to just barely hit him.
he ran by and sliced at his side. He kept running, even when
the chronos magna ran out. He ran to the village, and decided
to look to see if the man was still chasing him. He wasnt. "It
is over," thought chronos. He went home for a little bit to
relax. He decided to check on those bodies in the forest.
He approached them with caution. He thoroughly checked them,
when he finally discovered they were shinra soldiers. "Shinra?"
"Why were they here?" "Was that guy a Shinra man too?" All
these thoughts were running threw his head. Chronos decided he
was going to explore around a little more, to discover what
they could have possibly wanted around here. He was walking
past a clearing, when he heard a voice, and saw a man. He
quickly hid behind a tree.
"Are you looking for me?" he heard the voice say. After a few
minutes of waiting, he heard a different voice. "That was very
noble of you, i would have killed him." He heard them talk. He
wasnt sure of their intentions, but they didnt sound to evil,
or harmful. He decided to make his presence known. He walked
into the clearing.

~Sephiroth~

Sephiroth had transported after destroying home. He was now in
a thick forest. He could still make out the sun through the
leaves. It was about 1:00 in the afternoon according to the
sun's position. He continued walking foward, hoping to find
some monsters to fight. This was the same forest where he honed
his skills as an assasain, after he escaped from ShinRa.
Soon Sephiroth stopped walking, due to the fact that he heard
some kind of voices ahead. He wondered who it could be, and
jumped on a tree branch, being careful not to disturb even a
leaf nor make a sound. He heard men talking
"Are you looking for me?"
Then after a few minutes and many screams
"That was very nobel of you, I would have killed him."
Sephiroth moved into a position where he could see, but not be
seen. He was again careful not to disturb his surroundings. He
saw only one man, holding a sword.

VolantKnave

Hishimo was on his way out of the forest. He could not wait to
get his full powers. He had walked for nothing more than five
minutes when he heard voices.
"Are you looking for me?"
The voice was not far away. Hishimo decided to see what it was.
He sneaked forwards and quickly arrived where the voice had
come from. He hid behind a tree to listen. A short conversation
were obvoiusly going on a few metres away from him. He could
not hear the words. The conversation was broken by the sound of
a sword being swung through the air, the sound of a lifeless
limb hitting the ground with an unmistakable thump. Then a man
screamed. Hishimo quickly realised that this was not a friendly
conversation.
After some other thumps and noises, Hishimo could hear someone
walk/limp/run away. Then a new voice came. Louder than the
previous ones. Closer.
"That was very noble of you, I would have killed him."
They started talking. Hishimo could not hear much of it, but he
definably heard something about a siege on ShinRa. He climbed
up into the tree he had been hiding behind to get a better
vantage point.
Up in the tree he could see the whole clearing in front of him.
There were crimson marks on the ground on the other side of the
clearing. Blood. A steep 10 metres high cliff was on the right
side of the clearing. Both of the men standing there looked
like very experienced warriors. One of them carried a sword,
and the other one wielded a giant axe. Hishimo guessed that
they were mercenaries.
Suddenly a new person came out of the trees around the
clearing. It was the same person he had fought just fifteen
minutes ago. Chronos. Ryoku and Damien were instantly alert
with their weapons ready. They were definably mercenaries...
Hishimo was not sure if Chronos was one, but he knew how to
handle a sword, and he had some interesting abilities as well.
Ryoku and Damien lowered their weapons as Chronos had explained
that he was not an enemy and that he wanted to join the siege
against ShinRa.
Hishimo had heard enough. He silently slid down from the tree
and hurried out of the forest. He was going to tell ShinRa
about the siege, and maybe something about the "successful"
attack on the village. Maybe they would give him even greater
powers now...

Seifer1119

After a moment of Ryoku and Damien discussing how it would be
best to take on Shinra, a man stepped out from his cover in the
trees. Both Ryoku and Damien instinctively drew their weapons
and faced the man in an aggressive stance. The man did not
flinch, and only explained his position and willingness to
help. While all the information on who they were going to
recruit, where they were going to do the recruiting, and what
they where going to do at Shinra was being decided on, Chronos
inturupted that he new a location of a Mako reactor, and asked
what they should be the fate of it.
Damien reasoned, “It would be pointless to take on Shinra, if
we were to just let the people at this reactor just slip
through our fingers and escape.”
Then, Ryoku said in an almost grunt, “I need practice.”
As soon as Ryoku finished his statement, he saw a single branch
quiver with the unmistakable signs of a foot using its support.
Without thinking, Ryoku simultaneously leaped forward and swung
his axe at the presumed spy's assumed location. He could have
sworn he saw a dim outline of a face. But when looked around,
saw nothing. The other two asked what the hell he was doing
with their swords drawn towards his location. Ryoku gave a
simple, unsure response, “Bird?”
After an awkward moment, they were on their way to the reactor,
before finding an Avalanche base to try to hire as many willing
men to participate in the siege.
They all traveled at swift pace, hoping not to waste too much
time on traveling. Almost not a single word was spoken between
the group, until they came to see a Mako reactor coming into
view over the horizon.
They all approached the reactor. Ryoku sent the front door into
flying scraps of metal with a single swing of his axe, and the
killing would shortly ensue…

~Sephiroth~

Sephiroth had overheard the conversation of the warriors below.
He overheard how they planned to make a frontal attack on a
Mako reactor and destroy it. Then a man with a large axe jumped
up, attacking Sephiroth. He transported away before the man hit
him. Sephiroth had just been attacked, and now it was his turn.
He would head that man off, and ambush him in the Mako reactor.
Sephiroth transported inside the Mako reactor, and as fate
would have it, not a second after he got there the doors came
flying inward.
Three men entered. Two with swords and one with an axe.
"You with the axe! It's time for you to die."
With that, Sephiroth charged at the man. The man parried,
sheding sparks from where the blades struck. Soon the mans axe
had grazed Sephiroth's side. First blood was shed. Sephiroth
retaliated with a swift strike of his sword, so fast it cracked
the air it passed through with a sickening tone. The mans axe
went flying into a pipe on the wall. Mako came shooting out of
the pipe hitting Sephiroth. The other men dodged.
Sephiroth felt his soul being torn apart. The darkness within
his heart was begining to consume the light. Some of the
darkness had physically manifested itself in his hand. The
darkness in his hand started bleeing outward. The other
warriors ran out of the reactor. Soon the entire thing
collapsed, sending dust and debris flying everywhere. When the
dust began to clear they could see the outline of Sephiroth
dissapearing.

The trip back to Shinra was not very long. They had their
headquarters in Bevelle. They had taken the place over after
New Yevon fell apart when the second machina war raged a
hundred years ago. Shinra had "redecorated" the place when they
moved there. They had rebuildt almost the entire city and it
looked more like a huge fortress now... Walls surrounded the
city and guards were everywhere. A huge, black tower, thick at
the bottom and narrower at the top, was now standing in the
middle of the city, surrounded by smaller houses. Shinras main
headquarters were mostly underground... Here they managed
everything and trained their soldiers. They also had lots of
scientists and research labs here. Rumors also said that they
created monsters by exposing animals and humans to Mako and
modifying them genetically. Hishimo knew this was more than a
rumor...
Hishimo emerged from the forest. He could see Bevelle not far
away. The walls covered his view into the city itself, but the
tower was very visible. One of it's main purposes was to make
visitors feel small and unworthy, but it also held the "office"
of the Shinra leader. Hishimo went on to the gate. He didn't
feel unworthy at all...
Two guards were positioned at the gate. They wore basic Shinra
uniforms and were armed with guns, but they were not very well
trained. If anything happened here they would just "push the
button" and soldiers would swarm the place.
"Who are you, and what business do you have here?" one of the
guards asked. He looken rather uncomfortable in Hishimos
presence.
"I need to see the leader. It's urgent..."
"Ummm... Can I please see your face?" The guard looked even
more uncomfortable.
Hishimo pulled the hood back and enjoyed the fear in the guards faces. His face was blue, with black, piercing eyes and covered
in flames. Not anything you saw every day... The guards went
pale.
"V-very well.. P-proceed..."
They had been told to let through a fiery man, but no one had
told them how he really looked...
The road to the headquarters was straight in front of him. A
wide road going straight forward. (remember the Bevelle
Highbridge in FFX?) He walked on, thinking of what to tell his
leader.
He arrived at the front door sooner than he had expected. It
was a big metal door into the tower. Hishimo just waited
outside.. They had enough cameras here to see every single
insect happening to be here. A guard, this one a bit higher in
ranks than the two at the city entrance, opened the door. He
was not surprised by Hishimo's appearance. He knew he was
coming...
Hishomo was surprised to see a reception desk and a big hall
inside. He had never entered through the main entrance before.
"Hello, welcome to the Shinra Company's headquarters. What is
your business here?" the receptionist said as Hishimo stood
before her.
"I wish to see the leader. It's important"
The receptionist gave a signal to a nearby guard who came over
to them.
"Follow me."
Hishimo followed. They entered one of the many elevators here.
It was a round small compartment with a big button panel beside
the door. The guard entered a password and they were rising
upwars at a high speed. The elevator stopped with a "pling" and
the door opened. They were now standing outside the door to the
leader' office. The guard entered another password and had had
to do both a fingerprint and an iris scan to get the door
opened. They stepped into another elevator and went up.
When they came out of this elevator, they were standing in the
middle of a room. It was round and at least 10 metres from wall
to wall. The "walls" were windows, all the way around. You
could see quite far into the distance. The room was almost
empty, only a big desk was here. Not an ordinary desk. It was
full with buttons and screens. Behind it sat the leader of
Shinra, Kaa. He was the son of the previous leader. He had
short black hair and was dressed in a fine suit. That was all
Hishimo could see.
Just as they had stepped out of the elevator it want down
again, leaving and empty floor behind them. Hishimo walked over
to the desk.
"And what brings you here, Hishimo?"
"The attack on the village was successful, but every single
soldier died in the attack."
"I don't care about those lowly soldiers.. They were just
recruits. I have hundreds of them, and they can be spared...
All that matters is that the village is free for resistance
agaist us. Was that all?"
"No. I'm afraid I have some bad news. On my way back here I
overheard a conversation. It appears that someone are planning
a siege against Shinra."
"Hmm... How many were they?"
"They were three, but they will surely get more people. They
were all mercenaries I think. Very strong mercenaries. I fought
one of them in the forest. He had strange powers and matched my
fighting skills... But they will surely try to get help and I
fear that Avalanche will help."
"Hmm... I'll send out some spies to try and find out more about
this you say. You will be rewarded, both for the village and
this. Now leave. Follow the guard down."
Hishimo nodded and followed the guard into the elevator which
had come up from the floor again.
They didn't stop at the ground floor now, they went down
underground.
Hishimo exited the elevator and was now standing in Shinra's
research department. A scientist approached him and told him to
follow. The guard went up again in the elevator. Scientists and
machines were everywhere.
Hishimo and the scientist soon came to a small room with "bed"
with a glass cover in the centre. Hishimo was told to lie down
on it and the scientist pressed a button to open the glass
cover. Hishimo lied down, and the scientist said that he'd get
his powers withn an hour before he closed the glass cover.
After about an hour, Hishimo wakes up. He feels like he's just
been born again. He feel powerful. The room is empty. He walks
out of the room and finds the elevator. He steps into it, and
it takes him to the ground floor without any passwords needed.
The entrance hall is now crowded with people. As Hishimo walks
towards the exit, he overhears a conversation.
"Have you heard it? A man just arrived! He said he was the only survivor from an attack on a mako reactor! They said it was
mercenaries from SeeD!That is the second reactor to be destroyed in just a few days!"
Hishimo wodered who that might be before he walked calmly out
of the door.
