Why did my account (Leandros) get banned?

Maybe from the Purge.

Uhh, no. I don't think it's even remotely possible to get banned by a purge. Plus, I was on it yesterday, posting.

Your other account was banned for having a signature that was not only too long but had a filesize that was too big.

Lawson said he warned you two times but never actually told anyone in authority, There's a thread about you in PIMI.

Considering all you mods can view user notes, and warnings, let alone bannings, are supposed to be logged, could someone please view them and explain please?

Bannings aren't logged...

You should certainly know that bannings aren't logged in user notes. Are you asking us to explain Leandros' user notes or why he was banned? Because the two are different things.

I'd like to know when all these warnings and PMs were made. The last warning I can remember was made by HawkEye ages ago. And please take note of the time, seeing as how I changed the sig, posted a couple of time and left, not to return that day. Dunno if the last activity still is set to that day or when I came back two days ago...

I thought that sigs that are too big just got removed.

No, everyone went crazy banning people because it isn't hard to understand. 160 x 500. 25800 k. But leandros wouldn't ignore a warning from Lawson, so he was bound to change it within 24 hours.

The rules on signatures were set in an extremely strict manner, with instant removal of signature privileges being the very least that someone can expect for breaking them. You were actually banned in a batch with three other people so it is not as if you were singled out.

Eh, I wasn't sure if bannings were logged, but what was his last warning?

And enforcing a rule in a nazi-like manner just 24 hours after it's implementation clearly runs contrary to common sense. At the very most, I suppose a temp ban wouldn't be too bad, but Chipper/Tommypwnsyou got away with far worse.

That doesn't answer my question of when I got warned because I haven't seen any PMs on that account til I left that day (around 4 GMT I think).

Eh, I wasn't sure if bannings were logged, but what was his last warning? It was a while ago, but as I said he was banned purely for the signature offense.

And enforcing a rule in a nazi-like manner just 24 hours after it's implementation clearly runs contrary to common sense.I agree, and have put my opinions forward on the matter, but until the administrators decide otherwise that is how things will have to stay.

I just don't get how my account gets permabanned but Steve gets to come back...

Well it was clearly a decision taken by people that I really have no power to argue with. I can simply put forward my views, which I have done. They certainly did have reasons for banning you though, which you didn't get warned for at the time because you do seem to be very good at almost breaking the rules. It seems that every time you do something controversial (the major one that I am aware of being your swastika signature) it actually becomes a talking point as opposed to an open and shut case. There was something else that it was mentioned that you did, but I can't find it right now. Either way it certainly seems that most people see you as someone who tries his very best to be difficult and controversial without breaking the rules. And it would appear that that has finally caught up on you.

Heh, gotta do something in my spare time. Ah, well. I'll just get a name change once I get to 300.

Probably BGleak. Leaked fading colours over the whole page and screwed up the templete horribly:D.
