This is your opportunity to ask us, the mods of C&CW, about any forthcoming plans we may have regarding future events in C&CW, be they down the road or coming up very soon. Also, this is your chance to suggest any ideas you may have for C&CW. We intend to provide more content within C&CW on the whole and get this place back to what it once was roughly three years ago. So feel free to ask on. :bow:

I've been looking to develop a new short rpbing system - basically it would encourage short rpbs with a much greater emphasis on action. I feel that a lot of people are turned away from rpbing because they don't have the time and/or effort to write long posts entirely centred on the description of a tree. This is also the cause of fights dragging out and a lot of matches won by default. With a short rpbing system fights should be over within a few days at most, with a maximum limitation on word length rather than a minimum one.

This system wouldn't replace the old one, it would just be an alternative. The ideas are still floating around in my head and haven't been finalised, but I intend to trial the system soon to see if it works and whether people would want to use it. Hopefully it would appeal to an audience that classic C&CW didn't.

As I said, I haven't really developed the idea properly yet but once I have, I'll post details on how I intend it to work, rules etc. I just want to know now whether the mods would be willing to let me test it.

Alright, I got a question for you guys. What are the chances of having every ref here be bias in my fights so I end up winning every single battle? :D ^_^

Actually, I need to find out how many of our refs are still here. We post from time to time in our check in thread but not many of us are truly active.

Well, seeing as how both this and C+C have been suffering from a lack of life, perhaps it is time to try and forcefully inject it with an engineered form of esprit.

I say a New Years tournament, but, instead, of our usual elimination brackets, we have small individual tournaments, and the overall winner of that advances through the brackets.

It's deplorable the state to which our once honourable Clubs and Clans have fallen, but perhaps we can try to lift it up again.

If you're referring to C&C, just find a clan that you would like to join, check their first post for any requirements, and post asking to join.

Well, you don't really need to join anything here. Just PM somoene asking if they want to RPB, or just post an open challenge topic. Or...join a clan in C&C and try to have that clan fight another clan.
