Domon Kasshu (G Gundam) - He's the King of Hearts and he pilots Burning Gundam and Shining Gundam. He's the most powerful martial arts using Gundam Pilot there is. I seriously believe he could even defeat the main character from Gundam Wing (what's his name Hero or something.)

Natsuki (Hyper Police) - She's a Cat girl and a bounty hunter at the same time. She's really powerful with her electric attacks and her super fast dagger skills. Not to mention she's very cute.

Kaneda from Akira (book version) really grows a lot as person, changes his attitude some what, and love the fearless attitude and bravadop he brings to the page.

Tetsuo from Akira (book version again) a truly awesome character, it was fascinating watching his growth into a monster seeing his personality warp and change through the course of the books, from opressed soem what isolated kid, to power crazy nutter.

Jiro/Kikaider from Kikaider. I won't spoil the OVA for anyone who hasn't seen it, but what happens to him (And what he does) made me weep like a baby.

Seiya from Saint Seiya probably also ranks pretty high on my list, although I haven't seen Saint Seiya (Except for that horrible dub they had on Cartoon Network a couple years ago) in forever.

Looking at a lot of people's lists, it becomes apparent how painfully limited some people's knowledge of anime is. There's just too much Naruto and Dragonball here, which I think is bad because neither one of those anime ever had truly fleshed out characters (and they're so static, its always "I wanna be hokage" and "I wanna kill Kakarott", they change way too little throughout the course of their anime/manga).
