As the new begins Artemis is seen running down the stairs from his private chambers. All in the while he is throwing on his robe.

Gaurd: My lord what is wrong?

Artemis: Nothing, go back to your duty.

Artemis ran to his brother Virgel's chambers. As always his brother was surrounded by beautiful women. As Artemis rolled his eyes he walked calmly to his brother.

Artemis: Brother, we have a problem.

Virgel: What is it Artemis.

Artemis: Prepare the Ghosts for battle. I will inform you later.

Artemis ran back up to his room and looked out the window. A sea of men was marching straight for the gates of Razgriz.

Artemis: Who dares even to think of overthrowing me.

Virgel appeared behind his king, his brother. A blank look upon his face.

Virgel: Sir the Ghosts of Razgriz are ready. What his happening brother?

Artemis: It looks as if their is another pitiful attempt of an attack from our enemy the Sirdar Empire.

Virgel: Worry not, for they are all dead within this day.

Artemis: I hold you to it brother, show them our true power this time.

[~Mobius~]

Virgel walks over to the castle gate to view the battlefield and sees a lone man standing against the opposing army.

Virgel: You, guard, come here.

A guard from the top of the castle gate hurries over to Virgel.

Guard: Yes, sir, what is it?

Virgel glances at the guard and quickly looks back at the lone man on the battlefield.

Virgel: Can you tell me who that is?

Guard: Who?
He surveys the battlefield and sees the man in black.

Guard: What the!? That man is crazy. Does he not see the force in front of him?

Virgel: So, you don't know who he is.

Guard: Sorry sir, I don't.

Virgel: Go back to your post, I must ready our army.

Several minutes pass as Virgel readies the Razgriz army for battle.

Virgel: Men, the Sirdar Empire is making another attempt to overthrow our great Kingdom! They think they can defeat us, but they are weak, and we must show that to them in such a manner that they will tremble in fear at the very thought of this kingdom and the powerful army that protects it! Men! I need each and every one of you to do your very best so that we can drive those blasted Sirdarians back to where they came from! Now, let's go show them what the Razgriz army is made of!!!!

Soldiers: Yeahhh!!!!!!!!!!!

As the gate was open and the Razgriz army flooded out to meet the enemy. Virgel looked around to see if the man in black was still alive.

Virgel: My God!! Who is that man!?

As the battle raged around him, he saw the man in black fighting horde after horde of enemy soldiers, killing each and every one of them using nothing but a katana and a crossbow.

Virgel redirects his attention back to his army but has a sword no farther than a foot away from his face when all of a sudden, the Sirdarian soldier fell to the ground. Virgel looks down at the enemy soldier and notices the black arrow in the man's back. Then he looks over to the man in black only to see him sheathing his bow and taking his katana back out to take care of the enemy force around him.

Several hours pass and the enormous battle had finally come to an end. Virgel hurries over to the man in black as he begins to leave.

Virgel: Wait!

The man turns around and stands as Virgel finally reaches him.

Virgel: What is your name, brave warrior.

Man: Who wants to know?

Virgel: I do, I am the leader of this army and would like to know who I am thanking for this great contribution in our battle against the Sarderians.

Man: My name is Jason Constantine. Is that all you wanted?

Virgel: Well, Jason, come with us back to the castle so you can meet my brother, Artemis.

Jason: I would rather not.

Virgel: Please, I am sure my brother would want to meet the man who almost singlehandedly saved his entire kingdom.

Jason: Fine, but don't ask me anything about where I am from, I would prefer not to talk about it.

Virgel: Good, follow me.

Virgel, Jason, and the army all headed back to the castle.

Virgel: Men, you fought a glorious battle! Lets go home!

During the fierce battle, X was standing above. He was a nomad, who fought for hire. He fought only when he felt like it, which he always did. He had been in the village for some time now, and understood the situation well. After the battle, he saw a man that appeared to be the commander of the Ragriz Empire take a man inside the palace. X followed sneakily behind. He then snook behind a tree in the garden, and quickly got ahead of the two men.

X then reached the palace, and leaped up onto a window. After five minutes, he found the spot he was looking for, namely, the throneroom. He then unsheathed his katana, and made a circle through the glass window with it. He then pushed the circle out, and slipped into the throneroom, surprising a man on the throne, who X knew was Artemis.

X: Hello Artemis. I am X. I here that you're having problems with the Siridian Empire. I can fix them. I can fix them single handedly. All I require is the right pay. Pay me well enough, and I'll guarantee that the Siridian empire won't send troops near your border. You don't have to agree, of course, but if you don't agree, I can't guarantee that I won't be giving your head to the Siridian Emperor.

X holds his katana out, to stick by the threat, but he doesn't have it close to Artemis, as he still has a deal on the table

[Xevien]

Artemis stared at X for a few moments.

Artemis: Are you saying I can't take of those bastards myself? Is that what you are implying?

X: Well Artemis, it seems that this kingdom has been battling them since your father was on the throne, so it seems you are having trouble.

Artemis: Well you have a point. Yet I wish for you to remove that katana from my view, before I remove your eyes. Then we will talk.

X: As you wish sir.

Artemis: Yes it is true that the Razgriz Empire and the Sirdarian Empire have been enemies a long time, therefore I will hire you, 1,000,000 caros sound good?

X: Just the number I was looking for. My mission sir?

Artemis: Bring me the head of their king.

X: Well, that’s my specialty. I shall be back in a week.

Just as X was jumping out the window Virgel slammed open the doors.

Virgel: Brother I have brought a man, named Jason Constantine, I saw him facing the Sirdarian army alone. Bravest man I've seen in my life.

Jason: Well what is it? I must be going soon.

Artemis: Are you sure you can't stay awhile, we were going to feast on the victory of our battle, and would you like to join us?

Jason: Well as long as food is involved... all right.

Artemis: Splendid! Virgel find this fine man a room to were he can rest.

Virgel: Right away, brother.

[The Swordsman]

Sammy hastly returns to his Kingdom in defeat...

Sammy: I cannot believe this, this is an outrage.

Servant: But sir we are still stronger than them we can still win!

Sammy: Shut up! You fool! ( He then punches the servant as the servant flees).

Albert: My Lord our army is having a shortage and our city's are being plundered. We must do something Lord.

Sammy: This is the 5th attack this month that has failed. I need more land and i need it now!

Albert looking at the map replied: How about we take this little port town along the bank of the Loi River. It is rich with grain and rice from imports over seas. If we take it we will be supplied for a whole year.

Sammy: Yes.....that will be our plan. Prepare the troops another battle awaits!

(Sammy then leaves his courters, and heads the the armory)

Artemis introduces himself to Jason.

Artemis: Hello, I am Artemis Cahlind, ruler of this great kingdom that you just fought so valiantly to protect.

Jason: I, as you already know, am Jason Constantine.

A sniper readies himself on an adjacent rooftop.

Artemis: Well, I would just like to...

Artemis sees the assassin pull the trigger but not in enough time to move. Jason kicks the back of one of his boots and two blades fly out of hidden compartments in it. He quickly grabs one of the blades and,with great speed, throws it just in time to stop the arrow just before it reaches Artemis's head. Then he quickly grabs the other blade, dives in front of the window, and and hastily throws it out the window. The assassin looks up from reloading his bow just in time to see the blade just before it goes through his head.

Artemis looks back at the window, surprised to still be alive.

Artemis: What just happened?

Jason: Apparently there is someone out there who wants to see you dead.

Artemis: Yes, but who exactly ordered this? I will converse with Virgil and the head of intelligence council on the matter later.

Virgel busts through the door.

Virgel: Artemis, what happened!? I heard the window shatter and someone hit the floor. Are you both alright?

Artemis looks over to Virgel.

Artemis: Yes, in fact, Jason just saved my life.

Virgel looks over at the arrow pinned against the wall with a throwing knife, then looks out of the window at the man lying dead on the roof of an adjacent building.

Virgil: Wha-? How-?

Virgel looks at Jason, obviously stunned.

Artemis: We can discuss this over dinner. Let us go to the dining hall, the feast has been served. Jason, the guard will show you to your room so you can get yourself cleaned up.

Jason: Thank you, I will be down shortly.

Guard: Follow me.

Jason follows the guard to his room.

Guard: Here is your room, sir. How else can I be of assistance?

Jason: Just wait out here by the door, I will need you to direct me to the dining hall when I am finished getting myself cleaned up.

Artemis and Virgil walk to the dining hall, talking along the way.

OOC: BTW, X wouldn't say, sir, master, or things like that. Too egotistical and proud. Here's the RP:

Back outside, X walks towards the other castle.

X: Hmm... I must enlist into the kingdom's army first. No. Before that, I'll plunder. I'll take some money, and then gain the king's favor as a spy. I'll give off some info, and then kill him. Present the head, collect my money, and God knows what happens next.

Suddenly, X notices that a man was following him from the castle. He was keeping at a distance. X quickly takes out a dagger from his sleave pocket, and then dips it into a jar of poison in his jacket pocket. He turns around, and quickly tosses the dart at the man. The man had no time to react, and gets nailed in the heart.

Man: Must... warn... the king...

X quickly unsheaths both of his katanas, and holds them out, with their blades forming an X. He then stabs the blades into the man's flesh, making an X mark in his stomach. He then continues to walk on, and reaches the gate of the castle...

[The Swordsman]

While getting ready in the armoury Sammy notices the famous Red Suit of Armor his father had wore into battle against the Ghost almost 15 years ago. Sammy then realizes it would be a fitted battle to wear it once again. He then straps the armor on and fits his Firey helmet on his head.

Sammy: I will conquer this port and even the world if it means to keep my family and Empire alive!

Sammy then mounts his horse named Night and starts out to the barracks.

Sammy arrives at the barracks and addresses the men: Men! You have been very loyal to me these few years. I know you are tired of war and so am I. But we must fight for freedom and fight for our way of life. This upcoming battle.....If we do not win.....our Empire will fall from the lack of supplies, I am sure you all have realized that we are already short of. But if we win!!! We will be supplied for a whole year! And we will take the rest of the world under our foot and let no prisoners have any remorse. Because the way we have lived and have been treated by other nations and empires is a disgrace. Lets show them who we are men!!!!!

Soldiers: YEAH!

Sammy then rides his horse to the lead of his army which is consisted of about 30,000 men. While leaving 5,000 at his edge city of Lambros from which he leaves.

As Artemis and Virgel enter the dining hall, they noticed that the head of Razgriz International Intelligence was sitting in one of the seats.

Artemis: He never shows up to dinner, so why now.

Virgel: Let us ask him.

Artemis and Virgel walk to the man sitting across from Virgels seat and see a worried expression on the mans face.

Artemis: What might be the problem, Kurchan.

Kurchan: I have just been informed that the Kirian Empire is planning yet another strike within our borders. They plan to take the small port town, Loi Shan, on the bank of the Loi River. We already know of the Kirians weakening supply of goods. If they take that town then they will be supplied for over a year.

Artemis: ****, what do we do. Virgel get the Ghosts ready. I will be joining in this battle.

Virgel: Are you sure brother?

Artemis: Do not doubt me Virgel. We are equal in swordmanship. Also we can control nature. What do you think they can do to us?

Virgel: I have heard of their power to control fire.

Artemis: Nothing a little rain or dirt can't handle.

Jason comes in with the gaurd who escorted him and sees the trio of men.

Jason: Um. Well may I ask when is dinner?

Artemis: Soon... here sit down Jason, may I ask you something?

Jason: Uh... sure.

Artemis: Would you like to join us in a battle with the Kirian Empire?

Jason looked up to the king with a confused look on his face.

Artemis: They plan to take one of our port towns on the bank of the Loi River.

Jason: Let me think about this...

As the Kirian Army marches onwards, X approaches them.

X: May I serve your cause? The Ragriz are vile people. They have kicked me out of their kingdom, disrespected me. I want my revenge. I've heard that you're marching on to attack a city of their kingdom. I wish to assist you, and kill a bunch of them myself. May I?

After dinner, and discussing the following battle with their new friend, Jason, they left for the armory. Artemis found his favorite green armor suit. He fitted it all on and noticed that Jason was looked aimlessy about.

Artemis: Jason I suggest you find some sort of armor.

Jason: They armor I am wearing will suit me fine.

Artemis studied the armor Jason was wearing. He was astonished at how well protective but yet so light the armor was.

Artemis: I must know how you made that armor, but please tell me after the battle.

Jason gave Artemis a startled look but turned away quickly.

Virgel was the last to get his armor situated on him.

Artemis: Hurry up Virgel, we do not have much time.

Virgel: I am going as fast as I can.

After they all retrieved their armor and weapons they set of to were the Ghosts of Razgriz were waiting.

Virgel: Men, I present your king, who will be fighting along side us today. Also a new ally, Jason Constantine.

Ghosts: HOORAH.

Artemis: Men, we have recieved word that the town of Loi Shan is under the eye of our enemy the Kirian Empire. We must go now and defend that town with our lives.

Ghosts: HOORAH.

Virgel + Artemis: Men Lets GOO!

X to Snake Eater: I need to find a way to gain the Kirian favor, so I can backstab them. If I kill some Ghosts, meh. I could care less.

[The Swordsman]

While marching Sammy's army comes across a strange man.

Man: May I serve your cause?

Sammy: People who have no loyalty cannot serve me! You don't even have a seal of faith to any kingdom. What makes you think i will except you?

Man: I beleive i have services you need. I am a skilled swordsman, and also good on my feet.

Sammy: I shall consider it but until then, GUARDS! take this man as our first prisoner of war!

[X]

X: No, you did not just do that!

X unsheaths his katanas, and decapitates the two charging guards. He points both of them at the man.

X: Look, that was an offer. No, I demand you let me join your army. Don't let this become more physical than it has.

[The Swordsman]

Sammy: You fool....you think you can defy me. Do you challenge my authority!

X: Yes i beleive thats what i am doing.

Sammy: Alright you cannot defeat us all! (But i cannot let my men be ravaged by this fool and have no army to take the port.)

X: (Sweats drops from his forehead from the hot summer heat) Do we ave a deal or not?!?

Sammy: You would not be taken into my army's care, and yet you want to join my force. You must be a traitor, or even better yet a man hunter.

[X]

X: Not a traitor, just a warrior. Pure and simple. I fight, because I wish to fight. No other reason. Haven't you heard of such a person? No matter. I will join this army, whether you wish or not. You will not stop me. Let me join, or you won't have an army anymore.

[The Swordsman]

Sammy: I puny man such as yourself cannot fight me! We will have to battle.

Sammy then dismounts from Night and unsheathes his crimson sword, stained from his dead enemy's.

Sammy: Shall We?

[X]

X: Begin away

OOC: Look, start, and we'll go to five rounds, or as many as want. No one dies. One will retreat, or you'll give in and let me fight.

[The Swordsman]

Sammy circles around his unknown opponent. He stares into his enemys eyes that are bloodshot from the heat. He knows that the future of everything is on this one battle. He knows his whole army is watching. He fakes a step closer to make his enemy flinch but it dosn't work. His enemy jumps forward at him in an attempt to attack but Sammy dodges. Sammy then bounces back with a swing of his sword and jabs the unknown man in the back while he stubbled to the ground.

Sammy then anxiously waits for the man to get up. Knowing that if he attacks while he's down, who knows what would happen.

[X]

Sammy waits, while X is rolled up. As his hand is concealed, he takes out a dagger. He rolls forward, and throws it out at Sammy. Sammy is taken by surprise, and instinctively ducks. X gets up and turns towards Sammy, his katanas out and in the X shape. He lunges at the king, who counters with his sword. This splits the katanas away from each other, leaving an opening.

Sammy strikes the exposed part, but X spins away. He slaps the king with the flat part of one of his katanas, sending him stumbling to the floor. He stalks forward, knowing this could be the end. He holds his katanas in a V, as if he's going to slice both across the king. He bends downward, making the slicing motion as he bends. This could be it...

[The Swordsman]

Sammy, realizing this could be his death struggles to get his sword up. Sammy then slams his sword upward to stop the vice movement.

X: You cannot escape give up or die!

Sammy: I will not give in to a war drunken fool.

Sammy then lifts his feet up and kicks X off of him. He then struggles to his feet raising his sword ready for battle. X then walks slowly towards Sammy then steadily turns his walk into a run, and X lets out a war cry that makes all the spectators cringe.

Sammy then starts running at X and lets a war cry of his own......

[X]

X's katanas collide with the king's sword, but neither side budges. X then holds both weapons in one hand, and unsheaths his saber. The king spins out of the way, and X's saber hits the ground. He then tosses his katanas, and both miss. It seems like it will be a straight out sword duel. X and the king charge, and both meet in a spectacular clash of metal. Neither man has the advantage, as when one man spins the other man counters.

Both of their swords are in contact, seemingly attracted to each other. Out of nowhere, X took a dagger out of his pocket and dipped it into his pocket. The silver blade of the dagger was now a deep purple at the edge. X tosses the dart. This could be it...

[The Swordsman]

Sammy realizes the dagger but is too late. The dagger jabs into his sword arm forcing him to drop his sword. X seeing that Sammy has dropped his sword goes berserk flailing his sword left and right striving to hit the king, but all in vain. Sammy picks up his sword from the ground and changes arms because of the dagger still jabbed into his right arm. Sammy trys to pull the dagger out but to no avail.

Sammy: It seems like your offer is good....You are a fine warrior.

X: Are you saying you except my offer.

Sammy: No.....I'm just praising your swordsmanship.

[X]

X: Some battle you're going to fight against the Ghosts, oh king. Your sword hand has been stabbed. Do you wish to pursue this, or will you let me join?

[The Swordsman]

Sammy: Fine you will join, but the moment a suspect anything suspicious. You won't be so lucky.

Sammy then lowers his sword and mounts his horse.

Sammy: We will be taking out original course now. Lets go troops, we have little day light left and we may have already given the enemy time to fortify themselfs.

Sammy,X, and the Sammy's army set off for the Port that will soon be a battle field.

Jason, Artemis, Virgel, and the Razgriz army approach the city.

Jason: There it is.

Virgil: Artemis, how do you think we will do in this battle.

Artemis: Virgil, I honestly don't know. The Kirian empire is getting desperate, they will probably be fighting with all they have. Jason, what do you think?

Jason: I have fought against enemies like this before. The battle will definitely be difficult.

Jason looks into a nearby forest and pulls out his bow.

Virgil: What are you doing.

Jason fires into the trees and and sniper falls from one of the branches.

Jason: That.

Virgil: How did you do that?

Jason: It was easy, I just

Artemis interrupts Jason.

Artemis: We are here. You, guard, open the gate!

Guard: Who goes there?

Artemis: Artemis Cahlind, Ruler of the Razgriz empire.

The gate slowly opens. As soon as Artemis enters he orders that the citizens evacutate the city.

Artemis: Citizens of Loi Shan, you must all leave the city for many days, the Kirian empire is getting desparate and its army is on its way to take this city. There will be a great battle and there is a chance it may enter the city. I would rather not have my own people slaughtered. Please, when you leave, take as many supplies as you can, if the Kirians do take the city, I do not want them to last here.

The people gather up as much as they can carry, they load their horses and mules down with food and water, they fill up carts with as much sustanance as possible,
then the citizens rush from the city as quickly as they can.

Jason: Clever, emptying the city before the battle, I'm impressed.

Artemis: Yes, even if they win the battle and take the city, it will not help preserve the Kirians.

Jason: Yes, but let's not let them.

[The Swordsman]

Sammy while marching sends a letter to Albert in Kirians Capital of Kiri. The letter states...

My Dear friend Albert

I'm sorry to trouble you in these troubled times but our army will need more supplies then whats at Loi Port. I told the men that to get the rallyed up, which i'm sure you have already figured out. I need you to take men further East and cultivate the land and send supplies to the front for us to keep the battle going and to support us. If you can please find more officers and troops in the East. I trust this mission to you because of our friendship. Please do not let me down. Goodbye for now....

[Xevien]

Artemis and Virgel rode around to the side the Kirian Army would be advancing. Artemis looked on astonished at the size of the army.

Artemis: Virgel, have the archers form a line of the outer walls and every high up area they can find. Brind to me the rest of the army... and Jason.

Virgel: Yes brother.

Artemis waited as the archers formed their lines. The Ghosts formed a line out in front of the city.

Artemis: Men... this battle may as well be our last. Yet we will defend this city until each and every one of us still has a single breath in our bodies!

Ghosts: THE KIRIAN ARMY WILL NOT TAKE LOI SHAN!!!!

Artemis: That what I like to hear. Men lets go teach those tyrants what a true army is capable of.

Jason: You called for me Artemis?

Artemis: Yes, I would be honored if you fought by me and my brother.

Jason: No the honor is mine.

Virgel: All the archers are in form.

Artemis: Good, now we wait.

[X]

X walks over to Sammy, while he's writing his letter.

X: Are we going to go, or not? We've already lost the element of surprise?

OOC: I'm waiting for The Swordsman before I do anything.

[The Swordsman]

After sending the letter off. Sammy then looks into the distance. He see's Loi Shan and he also notices The Army of the Ghosts. He knows this isn't the fight he expected and he tells his men to set camp for the night.

Later that night....
Sammy: This is our last supplies we cannot hold for another night. We must attack in the morning.

Soldier: This has turned into a staring contest, not a battle.

Sammy: I know, but our army is much larger then theres. Most of there soldiers are on there other front. I'm betting those are volunteer forces they got from the surrounding city's. There not well trained in hand-to-hand combat. If we can just get inside, Sammy then turns his head in disgust and see's the forest to the east of the camp. He then gets a plan.

Sammy: Soldier do you know of any carpenters in our army?

Soldier: Actually yes I do, I know of 7

Sammy: Well what are you waiting for, Round them up!

After the men had reached his tent sammy instructed them to cut trees down in the forest and make catapults.

Sammy: I want to surprise the enemy, We are not known for seige but we must in this battle.

The men then set off for the mission that should be completed by day-break.

[timeissharp]

Artemis: Virgel, go get me our couriers.

Virgel: Yes brother, just a moment.

Artemis starts to wright out letters to every close village or town asking them to send all armies they may have.

[i]To the Razgriz people of our empire,

The Kirian Empire is planning to take the town of Loi Shan to retreive all of their supplies. If they do this then the Razgriz Empire will be in jeopardy. We need you to send all military able men to help fight this battle.
Please we need you help.

Artemis of the Razgriz Empire[i]

Couriers: You called?

Artemis: Yes I need all you to take one of these letters and go to all nearby towns and give them to the town mayor.

Couriers: Yes your highness.

Artemis: Virgel we need to get some sleep for tommorow.

Virgel: Already thinking the same Artemis.

Artemis walks through town to find his sleeping quarters when he notices Jason standing on top of the gate firing arrows at the other side of the city.

Artemis: Jason, what are you doing?

Jason looks down at Artemis.

Jason: Getting ready for tomorrow.

Artemis: Well, I am going to get some rest. You should do the same as well.

Jason: I will shortly, but I have to train some before the battle.

Artemis: Why? From what I have heard from Virgil you shouldn't need it.

Jason fires an arrow into the distant target.

Jason: I would rather not risk it, I must be at my peak in a battle like this.

Artemis opens the door to his quarters.

Artemis: Fine, do what you want, but make sure you get some rest soon.

Jason: I will practice with my bow and sword for a little longer, then I will get some sleep.

Artemis: Alright.

Artemis enters his room and lies down to sleep.

Jason is the only one awake in the camp. He quietly begins to reminisce.

Jason: I must win this, I have to become stronger so I can reclaim my family's kingdom
from those murderous traitors...

[The Swordsman]

Sammy inspects the carpenters working.

Sammy: Good job men, keep it up and this battle will be ours!

Workers: Yes sir!

A courier then approaches Sammy and hands him a letter.

Courier: This is from Lord Albert, It is for you my Lord.

Sammy: Thank you, you may leave.

Sammy then reas the letter....

My Lord...

We have started the campaign to the East. We come across and small village full of natives in which we asked to join our cause and surprisingly they replied in encouragement. They will arrive shortly along with some supplies. I hope they reach you in time for i fear the worse if not. I will continue East and see if more natives will join. I will write again when we reach the sea. Goodbye....

Sammy: I see my plans are working out.....Sammy then looks into the sky to see the sun rising in the distance

Sammy: This will be our day, I just know it.

[Xevien]

Dawn had just broke and Artemis opened his eyes. Virgel was standing outside his brothers tent, shifting his weight from toe to heel.

Artemis: Come in Virgel.

Virgel: Brother look outside now, you need to see this.

Artemis got up and threw on his robe. He stuck his head out of the doorway and was amazed at the sight. About 5000 new soldiers were arriving from the east.

Virgel: A courier from the west has told us of another 4000, and from the north another 2000.

Artemis: Very good! We may win this war. Are they trained at all.

Virgel: Not to our standards but yes.

Artemis: Good, at least their not complete rookies.

Just then a gaint stone crashed into the high walls sending dozens of archers flying in the air.

Artemis: Damn you Sammy. You will die before this war is over.

Another giant stone crashes just short of the town crushing a few of the reinforcements.

Artemis: We charge now!

And so begins the battle.

[The Swordsman]

Sammy watches the stone fly into the air and then crash into the walls of Loi Shan in amazement. It was the first time he had used seige weapons in battle. Sammy orders his troops to get in a line formation and the front line put there shields up to cover there face and 5 lines behind them to put the shield over there heads, in which making a human wall of steel. The line covered from the forest to the Southern Gate of the port.

Sammy: Make the shields sturdy soldiers, do not leave any cracks.

The seige weapons continue to fire opon the port, When the gates of the port opened and showed the Ghost Army.

Sammy then yelled: Aim the catapults at the gate!

The Workers moved the catapults into position as the enemy moved even closer to the human wall.

Sammy: Fire!

The catapults fired, and destroyed all who where exiting the gate, which was around 50 men. But they were still pouring out of the port like ants.

Sammy: There must be a way......

[Xevien]

Artemis: Archers light your arrows on fire and aim for those catupults. We must bring them down. Ghosts! CHARGE!!!!!

A flock of flying arrows were sent towards the catapults. Only two of the arrows hit but sent the catapult in flames.

Sammy: Artemis is a very smart man to figure this out. We may have underestimated him. Kirian Army we charge!! Keep the catapults aimed at the gates.

[The Swordsman]

Sammy's workers then send another set of boulders flying into the air and crash onto the gate, in which making the whole gate collapes and taking some of the surrounding wall with it. Under the gate hundreds of Artemis's men were crushed, most escaped but had a hard time getting through the rubble.

Sammy: HAHA! that will slow there pace, We have the army separated!

Courier: My Lord the Ally Natives will arrive shortly.

Sammy: Good all is coming to plan....

[~Mobius~]

The battle rages on, as Jason fights with all he has.

A Kirian soldier runs up behind Jason ready to impale him on his sword.

Kirian soldier: Eyaaaaaaaaugh!

Jason looks behind him and in one swift move...

Kirian soldier: How did he do that?

The Kirian soldier falls to the ground in two pieces.

Jason sees one of the catapults about to fire. He grabs an explosive out of his pouch, lights it, and throws it at the catapult with all his might. The Kirian soldiers operating the catapult see it right when it lands.

Kirian soldier: That can't be good.

The lit explosive detonates and, with tremendous force, blows the catapult to pieces and incinerates the surrounding soldiers.

Jason continues to fight, taking on dozens of Kirian soldiers at once.

[Xevien]

Virgel: Brother look!

Virgel points over to were Jason has went ahead to fight the soldiers.

Artemis: He is going in over his head.

Virgel: I think not, just look.

Artemis looked over and saw a dozen soldiers fall at the same time.

Artemis: How the hell does he do that.

The Ghosts have finally met up with the Kirian forces and ripped into them. Soldiers from every side fell and the edge of many swords.

Artemis: It looks as if we are in a stalemate. Destroy those catapults NOW!!

[X]

All of a sudden, X appears in front of Jason.

X: So you're the strongest soldier of this pathetic army. I wish to fight you, one on one, now.

That evens things out. We fight each other, those two do general army maneuvers.

[Xevien]

Artemis: Ghosts! Do not let the line break! We need to hold them back away from the city!

The Ghosts charged foward, breaking the Kirian line.

Artemis: YES! You can try Sammy but you know its impossible.

Virgel: Brother look.

Virgel pointed the area were Jason and a man were battling.

Artemis: Who is that man... wait thats X the man I hired to take the head of the Sirdarian king. That traitor. Bring him to me! NOW!

[~Mobius~]

X charges at Jason and crosses his blades to form an X.

Jason: sigh

Jason readies his sword.

X: Yahhhhhhh!

Jason slices upward across X's swords and splits them apart. Then he quickly spins around and creates a diagonal slash on X's chest.

Jason: You're wasting my time.

[X]

Suddenly, X's body completely healed, as if by magic.

X: Yeah, thought I was easy to beat, huh?

Jason: Wha-?

X: Check your arm first. That might be a tad more important.

Jason checked his arm, and found a dagger stuck there. This battle has just begun...

[~Mobius~]

Jason looks down at his arm with a slight grin.

Jason: You're better than I thought, I'll give you that. Also...

Jason pulls the dagger out of his arm, but there is no blood, his armor hadn't even been pierced.

Jason: It's gonna take a lot more than that to get through this armor.

X: But, I nailed your arm, how-?

Jason: You may be able to heal, but I'll bet that ability wears out with fatigue, doesn't it?

X: Maybe, but you won't find out.

Jason: We'll see.

X charges again, but this time he rolls down and tries to go after Jason's leg. But Jason jumps up into the air and impales X on his sword.

X: That hurt.

Jason pulls his sword out of X's back.

Jason: Come on, is that all you've got?

X gets up and his wound slowly begins to heal.

X: No, I'm afraid we're just getting started.

Jason: Is that so? Then you're gonna have to kick it up a notch.

[X]

X: Let's take this sword on sword, shall we?

X sheaths his katanas, and unsheaths his saber. He charges, and Jason charges as well, and their weapons both clash. They are locked in, with neither man budging. Who will win?

Sorry that these are coming short, but I have limited time.

[~Mobius~]

Jason kicks X in the chest and he flies backward several feet and lands on his back.

X: No, you can't possibly be better than me!

X gets back on his feet and charges Jason with all he has, but to no avail, Jason kicks the back of one of his boots and a blade flies up into the air, Jason catches it and throws it through X's wrist, forcing him to drop his sword. But X does not stop charging. When X nears Jason, he pulls out one of his daggers dipped in poison, jumps up over Jason.

Jason: Have you learned nothing in this duel!?

He throws a blade through X's other wrist, X loses his grip on the dagger and drops it on the ground. X slams into the ground like a boulder. Jason walks over and puts the edge of his sword on X's neck.

Jason: Remember, arrogance is no help in battle. Being overconfident can lead to your own demise.

Jason disappears into the battle, once again killing horde after horde of Kirian soldiers.

X: I'll get you for this!

He takes a few minutes to heal and rejoins the battle against the Razgriz army.

[Xevien]

The day was started to dim as he sun went down. Artemis new him men were weary so he called a halt to the Kirian army so they each could rest for the night. Sammy had little objection. He wanted to when this battle Artemis knew but he also knew his men were weary as well.

Sammy: Alright Artemis, I will allow peace for the night, just remember in the morning we fight.

Artemis: I thank you Sammy, it actually saddens me that we are not allies.

Sammy: Then you are weak to want such a pact with me. I will never become you ally.

Artemis: Then in he morning your army shall die, along with you Sammy.

Sammy: In your dreams.

Artemis's eyes started to glow green and the earth around Sammy shook. Suddenly sharp jagged rocks came out and stopped just short of Sammy's face. Do you not remember our power to control nature and earth?

[The Swordsman]

Sammy's eyes then turned bright red and magma surrounded Artemis's feet. Then fire surrounded all but his face. You obviously haven't remembered cousin we have some of the same powers. We will see who wins this battle......

[~Mobius~]

Jason is heading back to the city and he starts to think.

Jason: That wasn't even a challenge. How am I supposed to become strong enough to reclaim my family's kingdom when the Kirian army is too weak for me to even get any real training in. I just don't know what I'm gonna do.

Jason hears something in the bushes and comes to a stop. Then, suddenly, X jumps
out of them and lands in front of Jason.

X: Noone humiliates me like that.

Jason: We both need to head back to our camps to rest.

X: No, we must finish this so I can kill you and exact my revenge.

Jason: What did I teach you about arrogance?

X: It doesn't matter, I am stonger than you.Now draw your sword, for you shall die this night.

Jason: So be it.

Jason draws his sword and X charges.

X: Yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Jason: I'm afraid you must die.

X nears Jason with his blades in an X. Jason makes one swift move and X falls to the ground.

X: But, how?

Jason: Look down, your body is in two pieces.

X looks down and his body is cut apart at the waist.

X: I'll just rejoin with that half of my body.

X heals himself, gets up, and starts to charge. But Jason makes another move.

X: ....

X's body was laying on the ground, three feet away from his head.

Jason: I'm sorry, but it had to be done. I would rather not deface your body by letting it lay there and rot. So...

Jason puts X's head near his body, pulls out and explosive, lights it, drops it on X's body, and steps back several feet.The explosive detonates, incinerating X's body.

Jason: Goodbye.

Jason starts to head back to the camp. Thinking about his family and the kingdom that was stolen from them.

Jason: I must get stronger...

[Xevien]

After reaching the city Artemis notices Jason with a long face. He walks over to him to see what is the matter.

Artemis: Jason why such a long face we have won this day.

Jason: I am happy about that, but I am not getting any real challenge with these soldiers. I need someone who can train me, someone who is better than me.

Artemis: Well Jason I really don't know if I am much, or at all better than you, but I am willing to train you. Only if you would like my help, because I know what troubles you.

[~Mobius~]

Jason looks at him with a still saddened look.

Jason: I am not sure you can help me, but you can try if you want to.

Artemis: Great, we can start whenever you're ready.

Jason: Thanks.

Artemis: You don't have to thank me. Besides, its the least I can do after all you've done for my kingdom.

Jason: Hey, Artemis, just one question.

Artemis: What is it?

Jason: Just how did you know what is troubling me?

[Xevien]

Artemis: Well like my people I can control nature and all that is in it. But unlike my people I possess the power to read minds. I watched you today with your great skill. Yet I saw something holding you back. I knew it was the totment inside you that was about you kingdom. Even though you have a kingdom to regain, you are now a part of this kingdom. I know I can't teach you more with you blade, but I may be able to teach you to use the power of nature.

Jason: How is that possible? I thought only natives to the Razgriz could control nature.

Artemis: Their is something I must tell you but only when the time is right. Lets win this war first and then I shall teach you.

[~Mobius~]

Jason: Oh, one more thing.

Artemis: What?

Jason: Do you remember that man you hired to take the Sirdarian king's head?

Artemis: Yes.

Jason: I killed him while I was returning from the battle.

[Xevien]

Artemis: Good that traitor should be dead. I thank you Jason.

Jason: No problem.

[~Mobius~]

Artemis: We should go get some rest.

Jason: I will shortly, but I used most of my explosives in the battle today, so I have to make some more.

Artemis: Alright then, make sure you get some rest tonight, I am guessing that tomorrow will be a particularly long day.

Jason: I will.

Artemis walks to his quarters to go to sleep.

Jason finishes making his explosives and goes to his quarters to get some rest, still troubled about his captive family and the traitor that stole it all from him.

Dawn approaches...

[The Swordsman]

As the sun starts to rise Sammy awakens from his sleep as light hits his face.

Sammy: We shall fight today!

Sammy then stands up and mounts his horse. Just then Sammy notices men coming from there rear flank.

Sammy: Finally, More men for my cause....

As the Natives approach they start to run toward the front line along with Sammy's men to raid the enemy camp while they are still asleep.

Sammy: Aha cousin, You should know not to turn your back!

[~Mobius~]

Artemis awakens to the sound of war cries, explosions, and arrows rapidly firing.

Artemis: What the!?

He looks up to the spot on top of the gate that Jason was standing on just two nights before and sees him up there firing arrows but running out fast.

Jason: Artemis! Get the soldiers out here now! The Kirians are attacking and I am almost out of arrows!

Artemis: How much longer do you think you can hold them off with your bow!?

Jason: Two, maybe three more minutes! What are you wating for!?

Artemis hurries off to get the soldiers.

Jason: I'm out of arrows!

He jumps down in front of the gate to take them on with his sword, creating an impenetrable defense against the Kirian army.

Jason: Is this the best your army has to offer? You guys are just wasting my time.

Artemis: The soldiers are ready, Jason!
