This member (http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/member.php?u=164889) has tried to create his own 'DOA/DOAX' forum in two places now. I'm not sure if he has been punished for it yet, but he should be. Here are the threads he made in the Halo Series Forum:

http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419728

http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419718

http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419721

http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419722

http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419723

http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419719

And the one's posted in the Splinter Cell Series Forum:

http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419714

http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419787

Ridiculous. I know most of those threads were closed, but no warnings were gave that I could tell. I just think something should be done so this guy gets the picture...

Thanks.

Ridiculous is correct. That's 8 warnings right there, which would equal 2 bans? There must be some sort of action taken against him. He did this in the GTA forum as well.

Wow, yeah, I reported those posts he made in the Halo forum and he has now posted two more pointless threads:

http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419847

http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419854

He'll be banned soon enough...

Yep, it happened in KOTOR and Hitman too. According to him, 5 forums in total, and he has been banned now so its all good.

Good news.

I just wasn't sure about the progress of it, and doing it in 5 forums? Wow.

Thanks guys...

Yeah, I saw that crap in Knights of The Old Republic forum. Singin' Hobo basically told him to stay out of the forum, but I didn't see a warning, either.

There weren't any warnings as far as I could see... It just went ban request, done. I suppose from all the stuff in the x-box forum alone.

He also posted a few in the Morrowind forum. What a twit.

There was a request in for him to be banned pretty much all day (about 8 or 9 hours before you posted this thread), those who have the actual power to ban were not available at the time to carry it out.

Sorry it took so long.

And there were actually, I believe, 17 threads in Halo series... I deleted most of them, though.

Yeah seriously, that guy must've been either too lazy to look for another appropriate forum, just too stupid, or both.

This is precisely why we shouldn't allow people to start threads until they've reached a certain point (either a post count or a join date deal). I mean no offense to those who can control themselves but honestly.

But thats mostly the reason why people join forums to ask a question about a game then never post again. This is the only forum where I actully have more than 10 posts.

So by that account should guests be allowed to post? That way you don't get hundreds of accounts that are never used, but it does make things a little bit less controllable...

Making members post in several other threads before being allowed to make their own isn't a bad idea, but I guess shizzles logic is right and people may not bother if that was the case. Perhaps a sticky thread on every forum where the new people can ask general simple questions before being allowed to make threads? Just an idea, it probably wouldn't work and its just easier to control the few idiots that come through. I mean there is more than 70,000 members not a large portion consistantly do stupid stuff.

This forum would whither and die within a year if new members weren't allowed to post.

A few of these losers are just the price you have to pay. No getting around it. Nothing you can do about it.

I somewhat recall the "Office Space" quote. "When I do something wrong, I hear about it eight different times." Though I do suppose that you're all correct, my mistake.
