Why haven't there been any of these for ages? And can anybody choose because if so my favorite is Don Zaloog. He's awesome.

uuuhhhhh!!!!!!! i know....... raigeki it can completly turn a duel around and destroy an onslaught of fierce monsters that might make you lose the duel.

it has 2800, it can return a spell card and the monsters it destroys are remove from play the only bad thing is when it is on the field and destroyed it is removed from play.

Yes, Dark Magician of Chaos has seen an rise in use the past few months, due to the new ban list. Another bad thing about it is it takes two tributes usually. The only way to get around that is to discard and resurrect him, but with Graceful gone, alot of the discard cards aren't used that much. Anyway, I thought I would put up one of my own favorites.

While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot draw a card(s) except during Draw Phases

Pros:

Strong defense
Prevents drawing due to cards like Pot of Avarice and Dekoichi
Can be searched by Sangan and Giant Rat
Excellent combo with Morphing Jar

Cons:

Weak attack.
Can't use with Card Destruction

This is a card I personally use in my deck. A good defender, it can also put a slight lock down on your opponents deck. In this meta, alot of people use Dekoichi for drawing power, well this guy prevents it. Even nastier is Morphing Jar, which totally devastates an opponent's hand. Even better is if you use Dark World, which could mean a swarm of monsters to which your opponent may not have a card to stop or react with. It's good tribute fodder and of course Necrofear food. About the only bad thing is it's weak attack, which means if you decide to attack with it, it's most likely dead next turn, but why would you want to attack with it, rather than let it sit there and simply protect you.

This card cannot be attacked if there is another Fiend-Type monster on your side of the field. The ATK and DEF of this card become the number of Fiend-Type monsters on the field (excluding this card) x 1000 points.

PROS: Can summon from Sangan
Can reach up to 4000 if you have a fiend based deck.
Can't be touched if you have any other fiends on the field, which you should if you have him in your deck.

CONS: Risk of being completely screwed if left alone
