ALL CREDIT GOES TO INSANEFLY FOR GIVING US THE BASIS OF THIS SYSTEM

Basically this forum will consist of 3-4 ladders.

1 overall standing ladder
1 grand master standing ladder
1 open standing ladder
1 novice standing ladder

pending on usefulness of all 4 ladders are subject to change.

What this means is upon some sort of scheme where we can give members certain things the ladders will work like so.

Upon entry to this forum an intro post is required, any length, any content. That post however will determine that category you fall under. A bio of your character is required also. You must use the character you sign up with for at least a month before changing. If it is utter crap you will start on the easy ladder with other utter crap entries (yes it's that blunt). If you want to test yourself against all skill levels, you will be placed in open upon asking at entry. If you blow us away with your entry post, you will be put into grand master. You will post in the thread titled, “Joining Ladder”.

Then, when you want to challenge someone, go post in your respective ladder brackets; posting the name of the person you wish to fight. All fights will be at least 1-1-1 and no more than 1-3-1. All grandmaster fights will be at least 1-2-1, and no more than 1-5-1.

NOW.

The ranking ladders are only available if you wish to move up a rank and the overall ladder is cleaned every month (people able to move down and up if they improve or worsen). Joining is open all month as well. The ranking ladders are only so you can get experience & fun. The top of the overall ladder each 6 months will be awarded a prize depending upon the administrators.

ONLY refs may adjudicate the battles as per any regular battle in C&CW
ONLY Questions about the ladder system may be posted here.
ONLY Tournaments and the ladder brackets may be stuck

As of yet there is no punishment since it isn’t even up yet but during the early going if any of those are broken then expect your post deleted. 2nd violation will be deleted post and increased warning level. This however doesn’t mean 'omg don’t post here he ish so ghay!!' This is simply to avoid any miscommunications or spamming up of topics that need heavy maintenance and thus makes our work harder in the early stages of setting up.

Ladder Play

- Within one person’s bracket, they are able to issue challenges to other fighters in the bracket (bracket would be the individual ladders, NOT including the overall ladder).
- These issues of challenges may occur at any time.
-A person may challenge anyone within their bracket.
-A person who is challenged reserves the right to decline a challenge without
reason that is from a person who is:
- Higher ranked in the ladder than they are
- Within two ranks below them
- If neither of these are the case, the person must provide a legitimate reason to
decline the fight. Legitimate reason is a temporary, real life situation, and the
reason’s validity will be taken on a case by case basis.

This thread is specifically just an explanation and a questions thread. To join in on the action, please go here (http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=373522) . Thank you.

You shinta, you are genius; anyway i need to ask a question, for you always seem to be away when i get online *glares*

I need to post a bio and an intro using the character within my bio; now, as you know for my clan i am making an RP

Now if i submit the character used in my clan can i post that RP/intro with it? or must i make a intro only for this event?

This may seems a dumb question, even to me :D but i just want to be sure

well, if you use the character and it shows your work if you wanna get into a ranked ladder...then it should be fine.

Shouldn't there be one or two more ranking ladders? It just seems a bit weird to classify someone as either a grand master or a complete novice. Something like:

Grandmaster
Expert
Intermediate
Novice

thats true maybe not 2 more but 1 would probably be good depending on the amount of people

i think Shinta was going to do something like that if there were a lot who joined this
