View Full Version : The OFFICIAL SNES RPG List

From now on, all RPG list topics will be CLOSED.

Okay, here's how this is gonna work. This is intended to be a list of all the RPGs for SNES, as there are so many threads out there already asking about it. If you see an RPG that isn't on the list, post it here, then one of the mods will add it to the list and then delete your post, for the sake of faster loading times and professionalism. We'll try and keep this in alphabetical order. If an RPG has more than one name, list both and we'll place it twice on the list with its other one in parentheses. For the sake of perfection, all numbers will be done with the numerical symbols, and not roman numerals. You must specify which section the RPGs you list belong in. I know a lot of them, but there are so many more that I don't.

Note: I was sure that FF4 and FF6 were only remakes for newer systems. If the game is available in English, officially, we don't need to list it under Translations.

Hmm..I looked into it a little bit. Is it more of a Zelda type game, or do you actually level up?

It's more of a side story, than a sequel. It's in the same universe.

Hi all, my first post hear and I thought I'd add to the list.

A surprisingly unknown game called 'Treasure Hunter G'.
Published by Square after Mario RPG and 64 were released, this game uses the same rendering technique to give a 3D look. Everyone whose a fan of SNES rpgs needs to play this one. It was also recently translated.

This may be the wrong section, but I'm sure it's as good as any... Does anyone here know of a game very similar to Secret of Mana, except you start out in a (square) forest area battling some creature at the begginning of the game, then after you kill it, you head south into town, and then east of town there's a swamp with snake-like creatures that always jump up out of the swamp? Sorry for the bad description, I haven't played it since I was 6, and I've been looking for it ever since.

Umm.... how do I delete this post? It was supposed to be a new thread, not a reply....

Been trying to find a game recently, pretty sure it was for the SNES.
Only downside is... I hardly remember it, lol

I do remember it having the classic style battle system like the final fantasy games for the SNES. The only part I really remember is that you got the 4 main characters near the start, and you got a 5th every now and then. The specific part I remember is finding a mansion that was either haunted or just really creepy. Pink or Purple haired girl, too. I'll add if I remember anything else... Might have been for the sega actually...

Also remember going through a forest right near the start, and having a 5th help you out, but leave before you reached that mansion.
