The image tag has been added, and here is how to use it:
URL OF IMAGE HERE
That is the coding. This is what it would look like with a link to an actual image:
http://ms5y.web.infoseek.co.jp/artist%20logo/GUNS%20N'%20ROSES%202.jpg
The once that coding has been placed in a signature or in a post in a forum where the image tag is on, this is how it will appear:
http://ms5y.web.infoseek.co.jp/artist%20logo/GUNS%20N'%20ROSES%202.jpg
Please remember the limits for images! The signature limits on images are as follows:
- 500 pixels wide
- 160 pixels high
- 25kb (25600 bytes) filesize

How to do glow
Ok, there is a new vB code out. It is a glow effect. It is not inserted in the instant vB code buttons yet so here is how to do it:
Insert message here
If I used blue for example, I would get this effect:
Glowing text
There are also different strength levels with glow. Here is how it is entered:
Insert words
So if I used the color Blue and a strength on 100. Result:
Strength
EDIT: Remember, forum rules limit glow to a maximum strength of 15.

How to do double glow
Ok, since there a lot of requests on how to use a double glow effect, I'll add it to the topic.
Heres how..
Text goes in here
Now fill in your glow and text colors.
Say I used a color of white, and a glow of green and black:
Text goes in here
Heres a different size:
Text goes in here
You dont have to center it or make it bold, it just looks better that way IMO. Also, do not use a total strength higher then 15 for your glow. (Meaning if you have a double glow, the strengths can't add up to more than 15.)
Note: Several browsers do not display glow, so keep that in mind when making your sig.
Thanks to Fred Man for the preceding information.
Anchor Tags
A new vB code has been added.....
The anchor command, allowing you to link to a part of a page you specify.
the code is text here, but it must be used in conjuction with the url tags. For instance, if you do See how it works? the word that you designate as the anchor may then be added to the end of a page's url as #nameOFanchor for instance, here it would be http://www.gameadvice.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=229304#test which can be used within the url tags.... check it out and try it out now
p.s. Unfortunately, it will always open in a new browser just as any other link within a post.
p.s.s Remember to use the url of the page containing the anchor and to add a #before adding the anchor name to the end of the url.
Click here (http://www.gameadvice.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=229304#test)
See how it works?
Thanks to Kiro for the preceding information.
UPDATE!
I assume this new tag appeared with the upgrade to vB3 since it was never announced. If you wish to have the page simply scroll instead of opening a new window, there is now a tag for that. Simply put Text to be linked for it to work. No URL to the thread, just have to add the anchor name. Adding the anchor itself works exactly the same way as before, that tag hasn't changed. Handy, isn't it?
Spoilers
To do a box where you can read the text only by clicking on it, type then . Don't forget to type in the text!
Example: you go against one another at the end of unreal championship

you go against one another at the end of unreal championship
Try it if u want something secret.

Background Colour
With the bgcolour tag, you can set the background colour for text. This starts a new line, so you can't have multiple colours on the same line. The tag works like or when using a hex code (always use a # or it won't work).
Here's one bgcolour tag by itself.
Here they are "stacked" to create a border.
I used the code:
Text here
You can add as many of these as you want, but remember they make your siganture longer and the length rules still apply! I believe somebody said that three tags equals about one line, so keep that in mind.

No Parse Tags
No parse tags are a new feature that has been added with the recent update. They allow others to see exactly what tags have been used. Example:
I'm using the No Parse tags!
This would become:
I'm using the No Parse tags!
Although only a small feature, this is very handy for showing newer members what to type into their signature editor. For example, using the no parse tag, I can show the image tags without actually posting an image.
