Krappo kept coming back in consecutive order, numberwise. In order to thwart him, mods registered those names in advance. That's the gist of it. Duh'venger sees no reason for his inclusion here, though.

Dr. Manhattan

Uhh, no he wasn't. He was the first to reach 1,000,000 big difference.

Secondly, this isn't the first time someone has reached 1,000,000 given that rep was reset a couple of years ago, so the record is fairly pointless.

Oops. Two extra Zero's.

And I forgot about the rep reset.

Beha
February 2nd, 2008, 01:24 PM
Yeah, before that, there was like massive amounts of rep being thrown all over the place because of a tweaking with the system, so then kids that came in crying about bad rep got utterly demolished by these guys with insanely high rep.

Then the reset happened.

shortkut
February 2nd, 2008, 02:06 PM
the reset happened because of how high people's influences were. i could have positively repped the person right now with the lowest rep and put then well above where lightning is now and still had rep to spare. the system is too easily abused even with no direct connect like what happened last time.

Coleman

Too much influence wasn't the problem. I don't believe it's a problem now, nor should it be in the future. All of the rep everyone has now was earned naturally. The old system involved inflating Hawks post count so much that he was able to give millions of rep at once. Which in turned changed the rep of other people, which again changed their influence.

As long as nothing like that happens to this system, I can't see a logical reason why it should be reset.

the old rep system was flawed way before that. wicked gave himself 1 million to see what would happenand only repped klown, giving klown 1000 when everyone else had 0. then there was the hawk incident, and the shiven incident, and at least one or two more that i can't remember now.

However, if you so desire, you can count on Duh!venger doing his part to plunge you into that black abyss early and often.

EDIT: Hmm. Nevermind. Duh!venger sees by you're lack of a signature that you're too inept to satisfactorily accumulate even negative rep. :hmm:

Nominating myself for lowest rep achieved. I believe it was 20,000 or more in the negative at one point.

Coleman
May 2nd, 2008, 11:36 PM
First of all, your current reputation doesn't show -20,000 and there's no way to actually track that beyond an sMod or admin manually counting, and that's not going to happen.

That said, the current lowest rep is WELL UNDER -20,000. So even if you had -20K, you still wouldn't have the lowest. Keep trying, I bet you'll get there someday.
